DRC MINING WEEKTHE LARGEST MINING EXPO OF ITS KIND

WHY DRC?

Holder of 50% of world cobalt reserves, DRC will see an increase from 70 kilo tons to 82 kilo tons from 2017 to 2021 as the demand for rechargeable batteries is on a peak and would encourage cobalt production

The Mining Cadastral (CAMI) and Trimble Land Administration have developed the Mining Cadastre Portal to improve transparency and promote investment in the DRC mining sector.

BMI Research has identified the DRC among Peru as one of the fastest growing market in the next 5 years, due to high ore grades and still vast untapped resources, suggesting large FDI from China, that have already acquired TFM in late 2016.

DRC MINING WEEK WELCOMES YOU!

We are delighted to invite you to join us at DRC Mining Week 2018, Exhibition & Conference. The event is the largest mining and industrial platform in the DRC, bringing together over 3300 international professionals and local stakeholders from more than 50 countries, to explore the vast investmentopportunities.

The 3-day programme features our best ever line-up: exclusive power sessions, a 2-day conference for international and local stakeholders, a CEO roundtable, a B2B exhibition, technical workshops, technology displays, demonstration opportunities and an exclusive site visit.

In 2018, DRC Mining Week will extend the exhibition introducing a second indoor exhibition marquis and enlarging the outdoor space to welcome over 150 local and international technology and services suppliers. The event will feature zones dedicated to heavy equipment and machinery, technologies, agriculture and will host international pavilions from South Africa and Zimbabwe.

DRC Mining Week is THE annual mining “rendez-vous” aimed at creating an enabling environment to boost the industrialisation of the mining sector in the DRC.
