For Spring Summer 2017, we celebrate that passion with a collection rich in painterly designs that draw on our rich, forty-year design heritage.

We’ve also taken a deep dive through the rich Drake’s archive, and reinterpreted a selection of classic tie, scarf and pocket square prints in brand new colours, materials and configurations.

We’re emphasising the handcraft that goes into all of our product, with a selection of painted designs across our scarves and pocket squares, as well as a brand new range of grenadine ties that have been painstakingly hand-printed for a unique and striking finish.

Garments that support a travel-based lifestyle feature heavily throughout the range, including a selection of easy-wearing, trans-seasonal jacketing both formal and casual, as well as smart-casual trousers, fine knits, polos and shirting.

Spring Summer 2017’s tailoring offers an English interpretation of mid-century French Riviera style, with a hint of Japanese tailoring thrown in. Nautical colours - blues, navies, creams, yellows and signal reds - feature throughout, bolstered by earthy brown, rust and olive green tones. Suiting is the newest addition to the range - elegant, relaxed pieces that can be worn informally, even casually, as well as functioning as part of the workday wardrobe.

Our lookbook was shot on location at the London studio of artist Ben Deakin, whose lush, multi-layered landscape painting offers a perfect compliment to the collection’s gentle textures and rich colour palette.
