EDX Electronics This Orlando, FLA Company saves clients’ money by sourcing obsolete parts, disposing of excess inventory, and managing vendor inventory. However, finding parts to fulfill customer orders often required connecting to multiple internal and external databases, resulting in long telephone wait times for customers. Solution Our application automated the process of searching all internal and external sources and reduced search time (and the phone hold time)by 75%.

The Villages –Punchdown List Before releasing homes for occupancy, builders created paper documents listing final finish work required. However, this manual process was difficult to manage and time consuming. Solution With our tablet PC application, builders enter punchdown items, information is automatically synchronized with back office systems as soon as a wireless connection is available, and homes close sooner as final tasks are scheduled more quickly and accurately.

Mercedes Homes One of the 20 largest residential builders in the U.S. was growing fast but struggling to keep up with the data entry demanded by its software solution. Solution BuildRite, the custom software solution we wrote for Mercedes, reduced data entry by 30-50%, streamlined or eliminated cumbersome manual processes such as replacing trades or updating prices for open jobs, and integrated with Microsoft AX, a custom sales application, and the scheduling system.

Mercedes Homes While the company transitioned from a legacy custom application to an off-the-shelf package to BuildRite, management needed the reports it had used to run the company for more than 20 years. Solution We created Report Manager, an easy-to-use custom reporting application that builds reports in real-time from all of the source systems, providing management with consistent reporting throughout the transition to BuildRite.
