Policies & Procedures for Clinical Skills Laboratories.Faculty of Health & WellbeingUniversity Of Central Lancashire
1. POLICYThe College of Health and Wellbeing staff are committed to the development
and acquisition of practice skills in a supportive simulated clinical
environment. The teaching strategies employed within the clinical skills
laboratories relate theory to practice; these include practical demonstrations,
role play, simulation exercises, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations
(OSCEs) and case-study based practical examinations. The clinical skills
laboratories are for the sole purpose of the demonstration and /or teaching of
practical skills.
