This has been a blessed and eventful year for the Fedenas. We have preached in numbers of churches and have seen wonderful results in the invitations with believers getting things right with their Savior and unsaved coming to know Christ. Aside from having a mini-stroke and an 8 hour amnesia attack while preaching in Rio Grande Baptist Church back in August I am doing well again in that area. I am back to normal (whatever that is). Our pastor and friend, Louis Guarneri graciously allows me to minister in our home church at Straightway Baptist now in our new building on Whitehead Rd. in Lawrenceville, NJ. I finished up a year+ verse-by-verse study of the book of the Revelation on Wednesday nights a few months ago, then he asked me to teach a series on Elijah, (Prophet of Fire) in an adult Sunday School Class, which I do each week we are in town. The attendance for that class is building slowly, and I am enjoying the study and presentation immensely. I have recently had cataract surgery in my right eye and am experiencing some post-op inflammation problems and yesterday I got a steroid injection in my eye to clear that up. I am writing this with one eye being able to focus. Please pray that it will clear up very soon. We are experiencing a financial drought at present so we need to schedule some preaching/teaching meetings. (Hint, hint, hint!) Please pray diligently for this. Our income does not cover our expenses and we rely on love gifts as well. I am only 81, but I am alert, and am filled with Bible messages and lessons I can use to help churches. I just used Gospel Illusions for Pastor Al McLeod and his church for a Christmas Banquet. The lessons were well received and I didn’t miss a beat. My wife travels with me, of course, though she cannot drive. Shirley also is back to playing the piano in the services in our home church and she can do so wherever needed. Now for some good news! Shirley is doing better and no longer needs oxygen! That is a BIG thing! We are not sure why, but believe it is simply an answer to your prayers. She is functioning better and able to do some small chores around the house. She has been having in-house therapy for the last 3 months and it too has helped her. That will end this week and we are praying she will keep up with her exercises and not lose the strength and gains she has made. In October we travelled to Pensacola, Florida for my grandson Jason’s wedding. He married a smart and sweet young lady (Sara) who presently works at PCC. She will be pursuing a legal degree in the future. Jason has an excellent job with a company as their computer IT man. He also writes articles on computers. He does some travelling for his company where he lectures and makes presentations. The wedding was outdoors at Pensacola’s beautiful Camp on a lake. The weather was perfect. Our 8 year old granddaughter Amelia, and 4 year old twin grandchildren participated in the wedding. Jack was the “best man” and Julia walked with her mother. It was a blessing. (The weather did NOT cooperate for fishing however [wind], and we went to the firing range instead.) Of course Shirley had to take her portable oxygen concentrator (provided for us by friends from Delaware County Baptist Church) on the plane and had to use it due to a drop in her oxygen. Without that unit she cannot fly. Our granddaughter Stephanie and her husband Andrew (Sims) flew down to Pensacola also with their brand new baby Mackenzie! She is beautiful (no partiality here!), and is now 4 months old. What a great baby. We never heard her cry during the whole week. She is alert and pleasant as well.

Can you imagine the humiliation of our Savior the Creator, becoming a human baby? That is mind boggling!

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1
