MISSION OF THE MONTH

John Wesley in a 1778 sermon stated “Cleanliness is

indeed next to Godliness”. While this is not a verse in

the Bible, it certainly has merit in certain aspects of our

lives. Carol Paschal, director of Cobb Street Ministries,

strives to teach all those who seek shelter life skills as

well as the vital need for Jesus in their hearts. And

cleaning products head up the list of have-to-have-all-

the-time! Specifically, this month we are collecting:

1. bleach-liquid, packs, any size or brand

2. Pine Sol-lavender scented if possible

3. cleaning wipes (disposable)

Bring your items to the table outside of the Choir Room

and they will be gratefully donated at the end of

January.

intentions either by meeting with him following the message or by contacting the office.

REGULAR STUDENT ACTIVITIES RESUME TONIGHT

Our regular student studies resume this evening at

5:00. This program teaches Middle and High School

students to embrace the cost that comes with being a

disciple of Jesus. If your student is only able to partici-

pate in one student activity each week, our Sunday

night program is where they need to be.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY

“What if joy is better than you imagined?”, a question

that is voiced by many in the midst of disappointments,

regrets, and difficult situations. We will be discovering

how joy can be a weapon to fight life’s greatest battles.

Margaret Steinberg in “FIGHT BACK WITH JOY” will

lead us to celebrate more, regret less, and stare down

your greatest fears. Join us on Tuesday mornings begin-

ning January 10th at 9:30am in C-18. For questions,

contact Caroline Singletary.

JOIN US WEDNESDAY AT 5:15 FOR OUR FELLOWSHIP MEAL

The menu is Ham Tetrazzini, Lemon-Pepper Green Beans, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread and Too Much

Chocolate Cake. The Children’s option is Hot Dogs. The cost is $6 per adult, $3 per child with a $20
