Remarks Sumter Contracting has completed the Phase 1 work including the temporary modular building, the exercise and the locker rooms. Phase 2 work including

renovations to the apparatus bays and the living areas is ongoing. Moseley Architects continues to review shop drawings and respond to RFI's. The

project has been delayed by 73 calendar days due to Covid 19 related safety precautions.

Project Description Redevelopment of transit site located at 8300 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA to incorporate a permanent approximately 20,000 SF, five-bay fire station and seven-bay bus transit facility, associated buildings and roadway improvements.

Remarks The consultant Grimm + Parker Architects has been selected to provide design and construction administration services for the project. The project kicked off in December 2020. The Board of Supervisors approved the use of the Construction Management at Risk as a construction delivery method on 12/8/2020.

finishes and HVAC equipment start-up began week of 12/14/20. Pre-occupancy meeting was held on 12/22/20. Fire alarm testing is scheduled for late

1/21.

Project Name Gravity Sewer Capacity Improvements Tyson's West

Project Description The project (located in Tysons Corner) consists of a new 25 million gallons per day (MGD) wastewater pump station, five miles of 30" DIP forcemain, three miles of 48" gravity sewer, demolition of the existing pump station.





Remarks Capital Facilities is currently successfully working with the property owner of the proposed pump station site. The Draft Preliminary Engineering

Report (PER) comment response meeting was 12/1/20. Forcemain routing discussion on was on 12/2/20. Executive Team Debriefing was on

12/2/20. Currently working on a contract amendment for the detailed design phase.

Project Description The force main & gravity sewer system downstream of Lakevale Pump Station near Lakevale Estates is in need of capacity improvements & a discharge realignment. Need identified in 2019 in response to sewer backups when pump station operates.

Remarks Completed a design kick-off meeting with Dewberry. Task Order (TO) has been signed, funds reserved, and site visit took place 12/30/20. SAM TO signed. Drawdown test scheduled for January 2021. Property owners to be notified of upcoming survey work in January 2021.

SAM contract has been designated and utility location coordination has started. Coordination with property owners for geotechnical survey has taken place. Coordination with the Land Acquisition Division for Letters of Permission has begun.
