Benefits of agile
• Fail fast – early feedback tests objectives, scope and deliverables
• Early delivery – realise benefits to pay for further work• Staggered delivery – minimises disruption to ‘business
as usual’• Achievement focus – less time spent planning and
reporting so more time spent doing the work

Golden rules of implementation
Be selective in your use of agile:• Is solution unknown?• Is project time sensitive?• http://www.agilechangemanagement.co.uk/videogallery/agile-checklist1244551365/
Treat it as a change initiative• Cannot be adopted only by project professionals• High levels of stakeholder engagement• http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creating-Agile-environment-planningmore-doing-ebook/dp/

Invest in implementation capability• Regular deployments are the norm• Adopting new ways of working is a core capability
