This azalea is about 100 years old and is at Dixton.
The photo was taken as the floods subsided after
the catastrophic flooding in Dixton in February
2020. Flood water can still be seen on the ground
and it must have been flowering under water! For
us it is a symbol of enduring hope.

KEEP THE DATE
Deanery Harvest Festival - September 2021
INVITATION
The idea behind this Deanery “What’s On” booklet is that it is
impractical for many small parishes to host all the activities they
would like but by working at a deanery level we open up many
more opportunities.
Worshipping together, or taking
part in other activities, enables
Christians across Ross and
Archenfield to get to know one
another. We also hope that it
provides us with a a chance to
invite others to join us and find
out more. All Christians are
called to “Spread the Good
News” and it becomes a whole lot easier if you can just invite
someone to take part in something local.
