A few tips:
1. Do not use the default “admin” as your user name
2. Use a strong password and a unique password sb/9KDr_kH(8itqowC
3. Keep WordPress up-to-date
4. Keep your theme up-to-date
5. Keep all your plugins up-to-date
6. Delete any unused themes or plugins
7. Be careful of giving out your login info
