IB Mission Statement
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
Overview of the IB programs
The IB offers three high quality and challenging educational programs for a worldwide community of schools. The IB currently works with more than 971,000 students at 3,293 schools in 141 countries.
IB Diploma Programme for students in the final two years of secondary school
There are 744 Diploma Programmes in the US,

IB Middle Years Programme for students ages 11 – 16
IB Primary Years Programme for students ages 3 - 12
2,295 in the world.
There are 445 Middle Years Programmes in the US, 917 in the world.
There are 296 Primary Years Programmes in the US,
847 in the world.
Only 24 schools in North America and the Caribbean offer a PYP-MYP-DP Continuum.

Personal Project
This is a requirement of all our 10th
grade MYP students. It is a creativeindependent piece of work that is
