The boundary between areas 1 and 2 is the M5 Motorway (area 1 covers everything west of the M5) up to Sandwell Crematorium along the Newton Road, Queslett Road, and then following the B4138 (Thornhill Road and Rosemary Hill Road) towards Little Aston.
The boundary between areas 2 and 3 is the Coventry City Council boundary including Millisons Wood, Meriden up to Meriden Green.

Useful InformationPhotocards Season tickets are only valid if they are accompanied by a photocard of the holder (except one day tickets). Photocards (excluding U16 and 1618 Photocards) are issued free of charge from rail stations, Centro
local travel shops National Express West Midlands shops and appointed high street agents.
Just bring a passport size photograph with you. Photocards need to be presented when renewing your card and must be shown for every journey upon request. For more information on U16 and 1618 Photocards phone 0845 303 6760.
Left your rail season ticket at home?If you forget your season ticket and purchase a daily ticket for your rail journey, you may be able to claim a refund for the cost of these additional tickets. You are only eligible for two refunds of this type within any 12 month period and an administration fee (currently 10) will be charged for the second claim. For more information please visit londonmidland.com/tickets-and-fares/refunds/.
Please note refunds are not available for extra tickets purchased for travel on bus or the Metro.
Rail penalty faresA penalty fare scheme operates within the Network West Midlands area. Revenue protection inspectors regulary patrol all routes and will issue a Penalty Fare of 20 to anyone who has boarded a train without purchasing a ticket where there has been an opportunity to do so. Failure to adhere to the penalty fare process may lead to prosecution.

On Trains network and train are accepted for rail travel within
the zones specified on the ticket within the Network West Midlands area.
train tickets valid for Zone 5 can also be used on trains to Landywood, Cannock, Hednesford and Rugeley (Town and Trent Valley.
Centro Concessionary Passes are accepted for rail travel after 09:30 Monday-Friday and all day at weekends and Bank Holidays in the Network West Midlands area plus to Hednesford.
On Metro network tickets are accepted on Metro between
Birmingham and Wolverhampton (except Zone 1 and Zone 12 only tickets).
bus tickets are only accepted with a Metro add-on.
Centro Concessionary Passes are accepted after 09:30 Monday-Fridayand all day at weekends and Bank Holidays on Metro between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
On Buses network and bus are accepted on buses in the Network
West Midlands area plus an additional 15 Out of County areas. Please view the bus area map on page 11-12 run by the operators listed on page 8. Certain special services may be excluded.
