Friday afternoons. O 6W PE Thursday and FridayO Please note, the children are to bring their PE
kits on Mondays (6M + 6C) or Thursdays (6W) and WEAR their PE kits to school on Fridays.
O On Mondays, children in 6M + 6C will be dismissed from school in their PE kits.

Homework + homework club

• Big Talk homework bi-weekly
• Homework club on a Tuesday until 4.15 and is by invitation only
• Specific days for each subject will be fluid for the first few weeks and we will notify once sets are underway to coincide with homework club.
• Could be a project such as the Treasure Box.
Reading at homeO It is important students read regularly -
preferably daily for at least 20 minutes.O They’re not too old to be read to. This
models good habits.O We will be sending home a suggested
reading list for Year 6 this week. It will also be linked to our website.

Taking extended holidays at any time, particularly in Year 6, is discouraged as it effects students’ curriculum coverage, resulting in gaps in their learning.
