1. FEATURES OF THE WEB KIOSK
There are many useful areas and functionality within the Web Kiosk that should find helpful.

2. MY HR PERSONAL DETAILS MENU
The Personal Details menu contains personal information, such as your personal and emergency contact details.
a. Personal Contacts menu
The first screen will provide you with a summary of your contact information. If you click on the Contact Details link
you can update your personal details through the web Kiosk.
It is a fairly simple process of adding or adjusting your information in the appropriate fields then clicking the updatebutton.

b. Emergency Contacts
This screen will display your emergency contacts and their contact information.
If there arent any contacts displayed you can add contacts by clicking the AddnewEmergencyContactrecord link. Ablank contact form will open. Complete the necessary information and then click the insert button.
Contact information can also be updated by clicking on the Contacts name. A similar form to the form above will
appear with pre-populated information. Make any necessary changes, and click the update button. You will be
informed at the top of the window whether the update has been successful.
To return the Emergency Contacts summary screen, click the Emergency Contacts menu item on the left hand side,
at anytime.

3. MY PAY PAYROLL DETAILS
The payroll details section contains all your payment and disbursement information.
a. Payslip View
Displays your current payslip

b. Payslip List
Lists your previous payslips. A summary of your payslip is displayed on each line. You can view a complete payslip
by clicking on the appropriate date under the Period End column. You can also view the Disbursements for that pay
by clicking on the ID number in the Disburse column.
c. Maintain Disbursement
You can view and add disbursement details in this section of the Kiosk. Your current disbursement details will
be displayed after clicking Maintain Disbursement menu item
To add or change disbursement details click either Edit or Add new record.
Edit will edit the current record. Add will allow to you put a new disbursement record. The Edit and Add screens
are essentially the same, except the Edit screen already has your information in the fields. Complete the
appropriate fields and click Insert or Update.

d. Payment Summary
Displays all of your payment summaries. The first screen provides a summary of all your Payment Summaries. You
can then click on the number in the Serial# column, to display the full payment summary. Depending on the Payment
Summary, there may be an extra ATO screen to click through before your Payment Summary is displayed.
More recent payment summaries will be opened in a separate window. Older Payment summaries will be
displayed within the Web Kiosk.
e. Payment/Deduction History Enquiry
You can view your payment history between specific dates in this section of the Web Kiosk. Choose a Start Date and a
To date then click Submit.
After clicking Submit your payment history summary, for the selected dates, will appear.

4. MY HR EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
The Employment Details section displays information on your employment while at Charles Sturt University.
a. Occupancy Display
Displays all of the occupancies you have held during the selected dates. Select a Start Date and To Date or use thedefault dates to select all occupancies. Then click the Show Occupancy button.
All the relevant changes to your occupancy will be summarised in table, similar to those below.

For further information on a particular occupancy, you can click on the date in the Active From column. A new screen
will open giving you more detail on the occupancy you selected from the list.
For further information on the Position, relating to the occupancy, you can click on the Position Number within this
screen, which will open a position information screen.

5. MY HR SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT
The Skills and Development folder contains information on your qualifications and memberships. It also allows you to
nominate for any available training and view any training you might have completed, within the University.
a. Training Nomination
To view available training courses, click on the Training Nomination menu item. This will open the Training
Nomination form. Click the ViewAvailableCourses link to view all available courses.
If there are any course available the will be displayed in the format shown below. Courses will initially displayed in
various categories. To view further information on Courses in the categories, click on the particular category.

After choosing a Course Category, a list of available courses for the particular category will be displayed (see
below).
By clicking the Details link, further general information will be displayed. To nominate for a course, click onthe course and then nomination screen will open.
The Training Nomination screen allows you to nominate for a particular course. Things to note are:
There can be more than one session of each course You can view further details by clicking the Details link for a particular course number (Course#) Displays whether a course is still available Number of remaining places for a course is displayed under the Vacancies heading

To nominate for a course click the Nominate link and the nomination form will appear. The Training Nomination
form summarises the course information and it also allows you to enter some specific information (eg contact
phone number and special dietary requirements). There are also some optional questions you can answer. After
completing the form click Submit button.
If you successfully nominate for the course you will receive a Success message at the top of the screen, with a
summary of your nomination form.
