We Must Celebrate Graduation Card

Instructions:

• Fold black cardstock (8 ½” x 5 ½”) scored in half. • Stamp critters in Memento Black Ink on to white

cardstock (5 ½” x 2 ½”) and color in using Stampin’ Write Markers.

• Stamp confetti stamp using Craft White ink around critters.

• Sprinkle ink with White Embossing Powder and use Heat Tool to emboss

• Place Large Numbers Framelit Dies on top of cardstock you just stamped on and cut out.

• Keep ALL the pieces that are cut – including the centers of the numbers!

• Cut another piece of Whisper White cardstock (5 ½” x 2 ½”) and adhere the cut out critters piece on top of it.

• Adhere cut out pieces using Foam Strips to give them dimension.

• Then adhere inner pieces of “0” and “8”, but do not use Foam Strips on those pieces. I like to put a Glue Dot on the end of my Paper Piercer because it’s easier to maneuver small pieces.

• Adhere 2018 piece on to black cardstock (5 ½” x 2 5/8”). • Adhere this to Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper (5 ½” x 4 “). • Adhere to card front. • Stamp “we must celebrate” in Craft White ink on to black scrap cardstock.

• Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and use Heat Tool to emboss. • Punch out using Classic Label Punch. • Snip left side off of this piece to make a straight edge. • Adhere to top left of card front as shown using Foam Strip. • Cut a ½” x ½” square to make graduation cap. • Make a tassel by wrapping White Baker’s Twine around your finger 3 times, then tie a separate

piece of twine about ¼” from the top. • Trim the bottom of the tassel, and adhere to top of graduation cap. • Adhere to edge of the number 8.
