NETWORKING FOR PROGRESSARTICLE BY JAN MCMEANS
HOA -Better to have it and not need it; than need it and not have it!For many years many of our Communities saw no need for a strong HOA;happy to mosey along, having fun in the sun. More recently we see the need to be able to protect ourselves when necessary. It's probably Human Nature to become complacent, thinking "Let someone else do it". Well the facts speak for themselves; that "someone" has really botched things. While we were having fun in the sun, those whose goals are opposed to ours, gained powers and have had considerably more influence on decisions that affect our lifestyles. Today you can't Afford to overlook the benefit of being prepared. If you expect our lifestyle to survive it is imperative that you support those that are working tirelessly on your behalf in your Homeowners Association (HOA), Federation of Mobile Home Owners (FMO) AND Networking for Progress (NFP). Better to have it and not need it; than need it and not have it. Don't find out the hard way.Jan, NFP
