Having trouble starting? Consider this scenario: Your innocent character finds an “evil” ring with powers that causes him or her to use it MALEVOLENTLY. Write about how your character uses the evil ring in one day and what happens to him or her at the end.
Robert felt a malevolent wind blow through his window. This evil wind gently pushed his closet door open and a metallic object fell from the upper shelf and it made a considerable thud as it hit the wooden floor. Robert, amazed that he had never seen this ring before, picked up the ring, felt its weight and slipped it on his right ring finger. He liked the golden gothic skull sculpted on it and he now thought he may have real chance to impress Diana who loved things gothic.
On his way out the door he remembered his mother always complaining about how malnourished he was. He despised eating vegetables. But Robert was an extremely lazy kid so he just as soon wished the apple into his hand.
In a puff of jet black smoke, the apple appeared in his hand.
