Scottish Castles

Children will learn about Scotland. They will lean what the flag

looks like, some Scottish words and some things Scotland is

famous for. They will also learn about Scottish castles and

Kings and Queens. We will also be looking at the Loch Ness

Monster and creating our own Lanark Loch Monsters.

Electricity and Toys

Children will be learning about electricity and things that need

electricity to work. They will learn about simple circuits and the

benefits as well as dangers of electricity. They will also learn

about toys and what force or source helps them move, talk,

light up etc.

Health and WellbeingThroughout this term, pupils will be focusing

on the indicators; achieving, nurtured,

respected and included.

Pupils will also learn about the importance of

being safe with medicine.

In PE they will begin to build their skills in

gymnastics and fitness.

ICTPupils will continue to build on their ability to log on to a

computer and will continue to work on mouse control and

basic keyboard skills. They will also be developing their

ability to type simple sentences on Microsoft Word.

Children will learn about programmable toys.

Religious and Moral EducationChristianity - Pupils will explore and learn about the story

of Easter through a variety of activities.

Children will also learn about different

cultures/celebrations with a focus on Chinese New Year.
