TAKEOFF
This album presents basic theses of a new ideological doctrine and a new economic development strategy proposed for Armenia in the 21 century
The year 2010 was marked by many different events taking place in the world. Some of the events were important and some unimportant, some tragic and some happy, some memorable and some short-living. There was one particular event in 2010 which lasted six months and which undoubtedly will stay to be one of the major events for years to come - the EXPO 2010 World Fair held in Shanghai, China
The exhibition was attended by 192 countries and numerous international institutions, ranging from major business corporations to all principal public organizations. China, the host country of World Expo 2010, spent an astronomical sum of $42 billion only on the preparation for the event
It was an exhibition of an unprecedented level and scale, where peoples of the world spoke about the future of humanity, about what our cities will be like tomorrow and what urban life will be like
Armenia's participation in this prestigious world forum became a real sensation
Armenia was considered to be one of the most creative countries presented at the Expo, the Armenian pavilion was one of the most visited venues in the exhibition, the theme of the Armenian project was recognized as best reflecting the subject of Expo 2010, and the country was awarded a prize "For Outstanding Innovativeness of the Virtual Concept of the Project"
The central slogan, 'Thinking Together, and Building a New World Together', and the key ideology of the Armenian Expo 2010 project are very innate for the Armenian nation, as creativity, morals and humanism have always been its primary assets and reference values. Dialogue of civilizations on a new universal platform, joint search for new civilization standards and models in the 21st century - those were the tasks Armenia proposed to peoples of the world at the World Fair in Shanghai
The philosophy of the Armenian project said that every person must realize their destiny in this world in a new way, people should finally learn to listen to each other and hear Nature, they must understand that all beings on Earth are as one, and do everything to make life on our beautiful planet harmonious, prosperous and happy for everyone
Armenia proposed to the nations of the world to think and develop and bring up a new 21 century citizen. This would be a citizen of the world who would care about the fate of other people, who would feel responsible for every living thing on the planet, be a human or any other living creature, and who would make no priority out of a race, nationality or religion. New people must come, with Homo sapiens becoming Homo moralis and Homo conscientioso, man of morals and conscience. Humanity must vote for partnership rather than competition, for geopolitics of intelligence rather than geopolitics of materialism, for knowledge rather than force
This kind of evolution is now required for all peoples and nations in the world. If and when it comes to life, there will be other meanings, other laws and other civilization standards - all those that Armenia called the nations of the world to accept in 2010

Along with global changes occurring today in global economics and politics, changes are also taking place in humans, their feelings and forms of self-expression. These are the most important changes, as they affect people's values
The world is "shrinking", and the tendency makes is evident that it is the creative potential of a country that matters, rather than its geographic size
It is becoming more and more obvious that what we have learned about the world is only a small fraction of what there is to learn about it
Knowledge and technology are dynamically moving from one area of people's activity to another
The existence of a global "information ocean" with ever updating content has become a reality
The world is going to change in the next decade more than it has changed for the last millennium
The world crisis has shown the relevance of search for new civilization models and development vectors
Financial capacity is becoming secondary to creative capacity
Armenia has no ample natural resources, but it has a strong creative capacity
Armenia's competitive strength lies in the development of the country's intellectual content and in the use of creative aggression on all of available world sites
Nothing is known yet, and no one knows what the world will be like tomorrow, and Armenia does not need to become a country only servicing or adopting other nations' advanced practices, it needs to create and build up best practices of its own and then actively offer these to the world
Normal, even if continually improved, dynamics of development cannot help in changing Armenia's place in today's world to any meaningful degree -
a breakthrough is required, and we need a strategy for making it within years to come
The Armenian nation's creative intellectual capability is a natural resource similar to other natural resources, such as oil and gas, and the development and extraction of this resource similarly requires technologies and tools without which the resource will stay unclaimed and "rusty". The task for the next few years is to develop such tools and technologies
If activated, the nation's creative resource does not necessarily produce a quality and competitive product, and requires appropriate "production capacities" (a thought industry) with which to produce a competitive intellectual product (content, services, models, etc.)
To develop "content export" and to sell Armenia's intellectual product on global sites, Armenia needs modern communication platforms and collaboration projects
The breakthrough strategy should not be oriented towards already existing and well known rules, norms, formats and concepts. It should involve nonstandard and ex-format actions. Seven out of ten such actions may not bring the desired results, but three will be accurate and provide a "vertical takeoff" for Armenia
Basing all global initiatives and projects on a moral (universally humane) component and making this component a core brand criterion will guarantee Armenia relevance and success in the future world
OBVIOUS
The breakthrough strategy should not be oriented towards already existing and well known rules, norms, formats and concepts. It should involve nonstandard and ex-format actions

The key potentials of the "Armenian World" have been thoroughly analyzed and determined, and a technology has been developed for activating these potentials, which should secure a respectable place for Armenia in the world arena in the 21st century. An ideology has been developed for core brand positioning of Armenia in the world: "Armenia as a Moral Navigator in the 21st Century"
An ideology has been developed for unique Brand positioning of Ararat Mountain in the world: "Ararat as a Worldwide Symbol of Salvation and Moral Revival of the Human Kind"
"Smart Stream", a strategy for economic and technological development of Armenia in the 21st century, and "Smart Cluster", an implementation tool for the strategy, have been developed
A communication project titled "City of the World" has been developed and outstandingly successfully presented at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair
A communication project having no analogues in the world, titled World Center of Knowledge and Faith ("Spaceport Armenia") has been developed
A technology for the generation of a new competitive Armenian product reflecting the new brand positioning of Ararat Mountain and Armenia has been developed
A national program titled "Armenia - Land of Health" has been developed. A presentation of the Armenian SPA concept and its brand, ARARAT RELOGION SPA, was made at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair
A national program titled "Armenia- Factory of Nature", an Armenian ECO concept and its brand titled "Return to Origins" (with "Ararat Valley" as the commercial brand) have been developed
A programme for mental reload and social modernisation of the Armenian society, titled "Raise you Head, Armenia" has been developed
A matrix of priorities for competitive promotion of Armenia has been developed. The matrix reveals distinguishing potentials of the Armenian world and relevant directions and technologies of their development, the most efficient implementation formats and new dominant products. The color codes in the matrix form a checking "competitiveness line" against which any program or project can be tested for priority

Armenia will receive a respectful civilization prospect. A realistic possibility will appear for creating new conscience and thinking and for meaningful creative activation of the society. A foundation will be laid for the implementa-tion of various large-scale national programs and communication projects which should enable us to completely change the situation in the country and turn it into one of the strongest and most creative countries in the world in
the near future
An efficient framework will be provided for the creation of a "Economics of growth" based on modern knowledge and technological innovations, which will make it possible to insure a continuing development process and ongoing capitalization of its results
It will become possible to form and build the creative potential of the Armenian society and provide for gradual transformation of the latter into a modern intellectual and creative society
Armenia will be given a possibility to build efficient communication and technology platforms, develop and export high demand content and become a competitive actor in the world arena
A mechanism will be provided for continual import of the world's latest technological achievements, which will eventually give the nation a potential in developing and proposing further steps in different directions of technological development in the world
Armenia will be able to offer modern employment opportunities and attract educated and talented young people, including those living abroad (both Armenians and foreigners) by offering them better conditions for strategic employment and a better quality of life
Synthesis and integration of various Armenian diasporas into a one single entity on a new and progressive civilization plane will become a reality, since neither the national language, the national culture, the investment attractiveness of a country, nor even historical memory have the all-embracing strength capable of influencing people's behavior which new civilization standards have
The Armenian world will be able to begin changing its status of a "creative civilization" having little influence on the modern world today for that of a "moral civilization" actively affecting the world in the perspective

10 ARMENIA 2010 VERTICAL TAKEOFF
The rate and content of evolutionary and technological development that we observe today are leading to fundamental changes in people's institutional conditions
New technologies and communication systems are able to radically transform such fundamental dimensions of human life as space and time
Today, knowledge and technology dynamically flow from one area of human activity to another, thus forming a new medium for creation. To provide for such interdisciplinary developments and new knowledge generation, special platforms need to be created
The time has come for adopting new approaches and rearranging the functioning of all basic systems of human life, including education, science, business, production, art, culture, etc
The information era demands a new form of human habitation and environment - the Information (digital) City. This city is designed for a society based on knowledge and organized around various "network and communication flows". The Information City is a process rather than a form. The architecture of this city should follow the logic of the creation of an urban environment easily adaptable in order to secure structural domination of smart technologies and new network flows; the architecture has to be stimulating and providing for social and technological interactivity of people
The rapidity of current technological developments on the one hand and the rapid "shrinking" of the world on the other clearly show that a country where the society absorbs these changes quicker will definitely have substantial competitive advantages
When analyzing new approaches and developments, a modern economy model always examines the question of whether new the development strategies can or cannot be incorporated in the existing organizational forms. It fails, however,
to understand whether it is sufficient to simply update the existing system, or the task should involve the creation of technologies with radically new content
Therefore, Armenia's economy should follow the logic of a "Economics of Growth " based on the latest global technological achievements. This model is needed in order to initiate development time after time, build it up and then capitalize on it
Armenia's strategic prospects involve building a full-fledged knowledge society. The key tasks for the new decade are to establish mechanisms for continuous acquisition of current knowledge followed by management and conversion of the knowledge into intellectual export-oriented products, and to create efficient logistics systems for such products
A knowledge society can claim leading positions only if it is creative and active. Although Armenia's resources are not likely to allow the country to become a producer of globally leading technologies in the near term, they are definitely sufficient for making the country a producer of content for such technologies. We cannot "generate the sun" yet, but we must do everything to make the "morning of the world" start in Armenia
A new understanding of intellectual property and new types of ownership developing in the field of transfer entitlement affecting the dynamics of technology transfer from one area to another form a good basis for both the formation of a new class of young educated owners and the development of a fundamentally new form of interaction with the Diaspora
An interpreter and integrator of a technology will be no less important than its inventor in a rapidly developing world, and therefore this area of activity could become one of the most interesting and profitable options for Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora

A new smart strategy has been developed, and Armenia's proposals on building a New World together have been formulated, and were announced at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair. The ideology of joint creation was dominant in the concept of the Armenian presentation
at the World's Fair, and found an active response among many countries represented at the Expo.
The concept of the Armenian project presented at the Expo 2010 World Fair was highlighted by the organizers of the Fair and won a special prize "For Exceptional Innovativeness", and has become a good basis for the accumulation of valuable experience in designing and creating interdisciplinary content, using new technologies and establishing partnerships with leading international experts. All this makes it possible now to move to the stage of implementation of all the Shanghai achievements in Armenia
An innovative Armenian brand, Smart Stream, which is a formatted and targeted flow of "smart technologies and minds", has been developed, and its main operational tool, Smart Cluster, set up
Smart Stream will be operating both in Armenia and worldwide, and has a potential of becoming an efficient strategy for building a New World in the 21st century
To fund projects to be implemented under the Smart Stream brand, a concept for the establishment of a special Smart Foundation is being developed, the financial resources of which will be renewable with the use of, inter alia, mechanisms of socially oriented investing
A new organizational structure, Smart Stream Armenia has been set up, and care has been taken of maximizing the efficiency of its work through establishing partnerships with such organizations as the Centre for Special Programs (Armenia), the City of the World Fund (Armenia), the Luys Fund (Armenia), Technology Sans Frontiers (Belgium), Le Cube (France), The Center for Bits and Atoms, MIT (USA), Harvard Business School (USA) and others
Smart Cluster, an efficient tool for intelligent synthesis of key domains of human activity (technology, art, business, education, etc.) has been designed as a unique platform for quick transfer of knowledge and technology from one area of life to another with the use of a single process management nucleus.
Another purpose of Smart Cluster is to bring fundamentally new technologies to new systems and practices for application
A Smart Cluster consists of laboratories (Labs), the number and content of which may vary depending on the specific tasks it is expected to solve. The term "laboratory" means here a powerful tool that allows a person to move from knowledge to real work very quickly
A Smart Cluster is both tied to the specific location of its operation (i.e. it takes into account all specifics, ranging from the mentality of the people to the historic trends) and connected to the current global "information ocean" from where it continuously downloads new technological developments and innovative solutions. These two factors make a Smart Cluster both permanently relevant and permanently modern
A basic (standard) Smart Cluster consists of the following laboratories:
1. Fab Lab, a laboratory for digital production, a "personal factory"
2. Living Design Lab, create of "living" interface, digital art laboratory
3. Business Lab, a laboratory for business initiatives, innovations and training
4. Education Lab, an education laboratory of the 21st century for people of all ages
The work of each laboratory is oriented towards both achieving results directly in the specified direction and obtaining a maximum synthesis of a new creative environment, while the cluster's single control centre provides for constant and efficient synchronization of all processes
The managing resources of Smart Clusters are represented by well-educated Armenian (and foreign) young people and high-level world-class specialists, including those involved in the Smart Stream International Board
The operation of the International Board provides for both the creation of efficient international communication with the world's top think tanks, the high quality of the clusters' work and their potential replication in other countries

Armenia will be able to ensure constant and fast downloading of various modern technologies and "smart solutions" and provide for a continuous inflow of the best world-class experts Two processes will be taking place concurrently: the formation of a new environment and new tools stimulating intellectual creativity and the formation of a "Industry of Minds" to make a new foundation for the "Economics of
Growth " and become the key to Armenia's prosperity
The country's population will be able to improve drastically its technological skills, literacy and education, which will serve as a good basis for successful performance both in Armenia and throughout the world
The management of Smart Clusters will be the useful medium where a new knowledge management culture, so critically important for Armenia, will be born
By introducing smart strategies, Armenia will obtain:
-a mechanism for the development of the "industry of minds" and the new creative environment
-a startup incubator - a nursery for startup business initiatives based on global technological achievements
-newest professions and specialities and numerous modern employment opportunities
-affordable and modern education for each individual (7 to 77)
-new intellectual property products and new mechanisms for their privatization
-"net- supplies" of new solutions to various segments of the economy
The operation of Smart Clusters will provide for the development of a chain: Creative Citizen - Creative Class - Creative Society, and the Smart Stream strategy will create a demand and applicability for each member of that society in any country throughout the world
Smart Stream is an efficient logistic solution for bringing creative Armenian intellectual products to the world market, a technology for transforming Armenia into a significant content operator of a world-class
Smart Stream can certainly become a powerful core capable of inducing new technologies, new knowledge, new art, new business and, ultimately, a new civilization environment and a new standard of living. This strategy can turn Armenia into one of the most creative and successful countries in 21st century

Today the fact is obvious that there is a cognized part of the world (very small) as well as an unknown part. Any nature law or a phenomenon becomes known only when it has been discovered, but they also existed before that moment, didn’t they? The answer is clear: naturally, they did
exist and exist now in countless number
Any deep natural-science knowledge brings to awareness of logical incompleteness of the material conception
If in materialistic conception space the human mind is the basic component in non-materialistic conception though the soul is such a component
It can be stated with certainty that the soul like the intellectual mind has different development stages and its higher forms uniting with the intellectual mind makes a new quality of the mind
Though the category of soul for thousands of years has been one of philosophy foundations nevertheless it has not been interpreted as a kind of the mind and has not been investigated staying as some generalized integral concept not having inner structure or system of principles of its development
It indicates that our current materialistic mind so far is just a certain initial form of the mind
The future of human development will be connected firstly with gradual investigation and disclosure of mysteries of soul’s structural constituents with comprehension of the essence, logic, measure of good, mercy, confession, love, and secondly, with its further use in human vital activities separately as well as in synthesis with the intelligent mind. It is obvious that all this will take place in the informational space intensively studied by humanity where continuous development of information technologies will condition the cause-effect transitions to information of a higher quality level. At some stage of this process the information apart from intelligent dimensionality will start to study the dimensionality of the soul. And when (and if ) this happens the time for new cognition of SCIENCE and RELIGION will come
OBVIOUS

A unique communication project – the World Center of Knowledge and Faith (WCKF) has been developed
The peculiarity of the WCKF functioning should be in using both world science and world religion as much as possible in cognition of the world
so that to structure the unknown and to investigate it though this structure
The two main constituents of human being’s life - science and religion (or knowledge and faith) and generated on basis of their architectural-functional synthesis “new space” will be able to ensure the generation of a variety of processes - from the organization of a new environment of cognition of the world and the birth of new science disciplines to the emergence of completely new areas and types of tourism
The WCKF will make it possible to implement one’s variety of needs: from performing different ceremonial and religious exercises to cognition of multidimensional world knowledge, from the use of new healing technologies to the best meditative practices and development of new philosophical doctrines
The architectural appearance of the WCKF looks like an ensemble of religious buildings belonging to 5 basic world confessions (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism), located on radial roads leading to a single square in the center of which the Temple of Knowledge is situated – an architectural building of cylindrical shape with and open upper plane
The radial roads leading to the square of the Temple of Knowledge must be symbolically marked with architectural elements peculiar to those ethnic cultures which are related to this religious confession
Two entrances and exits are foreseen for each church located on the radial road. This solution symbolizes and characterizes “the choice” of the person who enters this or that church: he can perform his ceremony and go out of that church, but he can also “go further” and find himself on the Temple of Knowledge square
The Space of Faith is strongly symbolic and consists almost entirely of glass. This material provides the maximum communication with the outside world as well as it bears prospective technological solutions
The Space of Faith will function at its intended application which will enable all visitors not only to perform this or that church ceremony corresponding to given confession but to familiarize with main postulates and basic senses of given theological school
The Temple of Knowledge is framed with a construction, in the shape of a curved tower, on top of which is located the Heavenly Ark - a platform for gathering people in the day of the Prayer of the World. From the curved tower undulating planes depart (symbolizing the waves of the Flood), which are meaningfully-innovative and publicly-commercial space for use
The surface of the upper platform of the tower (the Heavenly Ark) is 5.137 meters, which is the numeric expression of the height of Mount Ararat. Each year, on July 17th, which according to the Bible coincides with the day when the ark landed on Mount Ararat, at this site will take place the Prayer of the World
This ceremony, planned for the people of all faiths and nationalities will be held co-ministered by the officer of all confessions and will symbolize the unity of the Mankind, its desire for renewal and moral regeneration
Architectural construction of the Temple of Knowledge has outer and inner perimeter
In the space of outer perimeter there is a library of the world's knowledge (syndicated and concentrated), science laboratories (new science), conference halls, cosmo park etc. It will be possible to organize world scientific conferences here, to get acquainted with accumulated human knowledge, to develop in laboratories new scientific schools (to create new civilization units), to carry out experiments.
The space of inner perimeter is formed by unique “darkened screens” reflecting cosmos and within definite intervals of time showing these or those “important achievements” of humanity (world masterpieces of music, poetry, painting, technology) and it serves for conducting various meditative ceremonies, for “soul work” of a person, who is in the inner space of the Temple of Knowledge
So, the outer perimeter of the Temple of Knowledge is the Space of Essence cognition, the inner perimeter is the Space of Essence comprehension
The WCKF territory will be saturated with new architectural forms and meditative - contemplative areas, creating its "cosmic" aura and unique appearance
In the WCKF operation the natural forces will be used (the Energy of the Earth, the Water Energy, the Energy of Space). Constructive modules and textural materials will be selected based on their maximum adaptability to the use of the current and future technologies

The Wckf will make it possible to implement one’s variety of needs: from performing different ceremonial and religious exercises to cognition of multidimensional world knowledge, from the use of new healing technologies to the best meditative practices and development of new philosophical doctrines
The main functional components of the WCKF territory are the following:
The first functional component is road
In the WCKF project five roads are offered (five axes) leading to religious objects of 5 main confessions. The functional sense of this component is: “the man goes along the road” (goes to healing, goes to the light, goes to happiness, goes to new life etc). This action is absolutely necessary and should have some duration
The road itself should be “rich in information” so that the man going along it would “tune himself up” (different roads leading to different objects of religion must have different information contents more appropriate and clear for people of given culture and religion)
The second functional component is the Space of Faith
The functional sense of this component is to enable the man “going along the road” to “stop”, concentrate and activate his hope (for healing, for happy life, for purification etc). This space must let him pray, perform a religious ritual, ceremony. It should be organized in such a way that the man would be sure his request and prayer will be “heard”
The third component is the Temple of Knowledge square: “entrance to new space”. I.e. the man having passed the Road, through the Prayer enters the new space. It should be organized in such a way that to fill him immediately with new sensations, open new horizons before him, charge him with new energy, “shock” him with new emotions never existed before. The man should be able to gather on this territory what is required for his emotional and contents reload
The fourth component – is the Temple of Knowledge itself
Here the man should “hear the World”, discover the power of cosmic mind, discover and understand a lot of new things, be filled with new energy and belief in the power of nature and the inner power of himself – the Man..
So, these four components create a complete cycle passing through which the man will be able to go from A to Z of his spiritual, moral and physical “renaissance”, as on the WCKF territory will also necessarily operate a variety of centers for physical health renewal, offering a great number of technologies and methods of direct impact on both physical and mental parameters of each visitor
33ARMENIA 2010 VERTICAL TAKEOFF
34 ARMENIA 2010 VERTICAL TAKEOFF
WCKF will become a powerful center of attraction for people of all religions, all nationalities and all social strata
Armenia will be able to synthesize a new environment and a new space of human activity, which will be super attractive, interesting
and useful for millions of people around the world - tourists, believers and scientists
Permanent moderation of the WCKF aura, the generation of new research techniques, exploration of the new abilities of collective "power of the mind and senses” in a single point and at a single point in time, the launch of many innovative pilot programs, will create a unique environment of the new world cognition and lead to revolutionary breakthroughs and achievements
The following comparison may serve as analogy: like in physics for instance there is an accelerator that disperses the particles and the physicists studying them discover new laws; like in chemistry the scientists carrying out numerous experiments discover new elements and formulas in the same way in the world of human beings and in life new environment, new space, new ranges are needed (WCKF) where it will be possible to carry out similar “experiments” for studying and what is most important for discovery of the new world of Knowledge and new mechanisms of cognition, as well as new Life formulas (formula of Morality, formula of Development, Law of Conscience etc) which have been planned by Creator and for the triumph of which He saved once the humanity on the holy mount Ararat. These new formulas will become a new basis of new Science and new Religion which should bring-up a new Individual and form new laws of his life
Lots of new opportunities and directions for development will be provided due to the high level of the WCKF innovation richness. It is extremely high since the process of the detailed project development, and the environment of the synthesis of science and religion itself contain a strong innovative potential
The very process of designing such an "unusual" object, studying and selecting the enormous potential of human knowledge, the concentrated use of the latest technologies in various fields - all these (and more) are great opportunities, both for the emergence of many new super modern project fields and for the establishment of effective communications with the world, which in its turn will become a powerful vector for the development of Armenia
RESULTS
The development can be committed in such areas as:
-Creation of a unique cognitive object millions of guests will wish to visit in Armenia;
-generation of new scientific environment and development of new research schools (“theological physics”, “informational chemistry” etc.), interesting and attractive for many world scientific outstanding figures from the biggest corporations to world famous scientists etc.;
-development of new generation innovation technologies and techno parks (scientific parks);
-forming and moderation of a new virtual-physical platform (environment) of human vital activities;
-creation of prerequisites and real base for civilization leap;
-forming a new geopolitical doctrine (“Geopolitics of the Mind");
-creation of cosmic informational highway (“Knowledge of Cosmos”)
-forming a new human consciousness ("Man of the Earth");
-creation of progressive infrastructures around such a complex (dwelling, support, service)
Rich content of the WCKF even at the initial stage of its creation is able to attract various investor groups and guarantee them a profitable investment in the operational phase, as at the stage of functioning three main parameters are ensured which make a man spend money during his life, they can be determined as follows: interest, benefit, pleasure
Implementation of this project will help to develop new partnerships with many financially and technologically strong members of the world market as it opens up new (non-standard) prospects
Communications capacity of the project is virtually unlimited and can serve as a platform setting a variety of new project developments
Today it is necessary to think about forming a new Cognition Environment, about new tools of its investigation and studying, about those mechanisms and technologies, implementation of which will enable Armenia to get on a new high road of Development

Today, when global threats to our planet and the whole of mankind are becoming more and more obvious (nuclear weapons, environmental disasters, wars of geopolitical systems, the "golden billion" and whole continents living in downright poverty, globalisation and anti-
globalisation, and so on and so forth), the need for people's cohesion around positive, unifying and peace-keeping ideas has become too obvious
Of course, such ideas might be numerous, but one of them, no doubt, may be the idea of building the first City of the World by joint efforts, where there will be no hostility or confrontation, destruction or annihilation of nature, where all nations will coexist peacefully, dedicate their joint efforts to creative work and reflect together on how to make our fragile planet a happy and harmonious place to live in
According to a biblical legend, there is Mount Ararat, where once all earthly life was saved. God saved man to make him reconsider his existence on Earth, liberate himself from sin and be reborn spiritually. It would be very symbolic therefore if a City of the World, the first one in mankind's history, was built at the foot of Mount Ararat as a symbol of moral revival. Contributing to the construction of the first City of the World would be a unique chance for everyone, as it would be a "step of repentance and rectification"
Such a city would need to be both historical and contemporary, technological and ecological, peaceful and creative, comfortable and attractive at the same time
The cultural diversity of the world and its nations as mankind's common heritage has a special value which needs to be preserved both for the present and future generations, it has to become a source of harmony and creativity, the foundation of a new world where the pursuit of technological perfection must be balanced by the desire to preserve nature in its pristine shape
The idea of building the City of the World rests on the rich creative potential of the Armenian nation which has for centuries made huge contributions to the formation of a civilized living space for man, and is at the same time oriented towards forming a new space of peace and creativity
OBVIOUS
The idea of building the city of the World rests on the rich creative potential of the Armenian nation which has for centuries made huge contributions to the formation of a civilized living space for man, and is at the same time oriented towards forming a new space of peace and creativity
Armenia presented this project for the first time at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair, where the nations of the world were invited to think about the joint construction of a new world, the launch of a new dialogue between civilizations and the establishment of new 21st century civilization models, about new priorities in the development of our cities and about technological changes bound to take place in human life in the near future
The City of the World is a unique communication platform on which numerous projects can be developed, tested and implemented. Optionally, it is possible to think over and work on shaping the architectural and urban face of the first physical City of the World, or to create a prototype of the first virtual city of this kind, to develop modules of mixed reality or to develop models of conflict-free existence of different (often antagonistic) cultures in a single urban space (an architectural genome), it is possible to create mechanisms to protect unique national heritage of different nations or to develop a positive environment for their development in the future. All these and many other levels at which the City of the World project can be implemented are absolutely relevant for all humankind and are a priority in today's world

An architectural concept of the City of the World has been developed, with a number of national districts (complexes) existing next to each other, populated by people belonging to differed nations of the world (Armenian, Arabic, Japanese, Indian, French, American, Chinese,
Russian, Mexican, etc. districts) where Armenian architects and constructors will build environments true to the respective national styles and filled with culture and entertainment venues (restaurants, museums, cafes, libraries), residential buildings (hotels, houses, courtyards), religious centres, craft shops, gardens and natural oases
The first City of the World is certainly a diverse, bustling and colourful city, where numerous nationalities "live" (or are represented), and the whole of the world's culture is represented. Every day and every hour in this town is filled with various events (festivals, exhibitions, conferences, etc.), you can buy goods "from all around the world" in stores located literally next to each other, every person on the planet wants to come here to feel themselves a full-fledged Citizen of the Earth (as there is no second place such as this one, and it is very interesting to be here), and as a result of all this, the City of the World will be even more interesting and fun, turning into a kind of a "Capital of the World - a Space for Cultural Interaction"
Armenian architects living in Russia, the US, France, Armenia, Qatar, Lebanon, Italy, Holland and Belgium developed some 40 architectural designs of national complexes for the City of the World, which were presented in the form of models at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair. Numerous presentations, meetings, negotiations and promotion actions were held in order to present the idea to the international community and to discuss its relevance
The work of the Armenian pavilion at Expo 2010 was built in a non-stop mode, and discussion over the design and monitoring of visitors' opinions did not stop for one moment during the six months of the Expo 2010 operation. This was facilitated by electronic news tickers bringing information around the clock in running letters to the huge glass platform serving as the base of the model. The news items presented the results of discussions held on social networking sites and forums about the design, special messages left by visitors of the pavilion on an electronic map of the world and numerous interviews with internationally celebrated architects and other professionals
Numerous futuristic urban development technologies were studied and discussed, ranging from the "Charter City" theory to the formation of "electronic membranes" for cities of the future, from Media City concepts to the development of architectural genomes of the future, and from architecture and art in a digital city to 3D information models of cities of the future
All these latest works and developments of the Armenian design team formed the communication basis which facilitated the start of a dialogue with the world's largest intellectual centres and ensured their interest and subsequent conversion into partners of the City of the World project
The front slogan of the Armenian pavilion in Shanghai read as "New World, New Technologies, New Art". Exactly this Armenia brilliantly demonstrated to the world in 2010 with the use of the unique City of the World project, by proposing to start building a new world and showing the new civilisation model and the latest technologies of this world, and displaying the art of creative building

The City of the World project was supported by all international organizations and numerous participants of Expo 2010. Commissioner General of the United Nations pavilion called the project simply amazing and teaching mankind to live together
The Chinese organizers of Expo 2010 called the Armenian project unique and exceptionally creative, and expressed hope that Armenia should succeed in building this splendid City of Harmony
Most of the thousands of visitors of the Armenian pavilion (an unprecedented record was set, with more than 2,700,000 visiting the exposition) clearly supported the project and expressed their willingness to participate in it
Representatives of the Armenian diaspora repeatedly expressed their admiration and pride for their homeland which presented the strength of Armenian philosophical thought and the creative potential of Armenian architecture to the world in so commendable a manner. All of this is a great base for the continuation of implementation of the City of the World project in Armenia
The organizers of Expo 2010 in Shanghai repeatedly expressed the opinion that Armenia succeeded in becoming a worldwide model of creative and meaningful thinking, a model of high aesthetics and prospective technologies demonstrated at the Expo as a site of the highest intellectual and technological level. There is now a great opportunity of introducing this success in the country itself
Never before has the world seen such a presentation made by Armenia in an international venue. The success was such that people would be queuing to get to the Armenian pavilion from 10 am to 10 pm, and even if under the scorching sun or in the rain. And it did happen, and the world saw the new Armenia, a country that exported "content" and achieved a sensational victory in an incredibly competitive environment (192 countries attended Expo 2010, while China spent $42 billion on its preparation) by using creative and insightful thinking as the most competitive advantage of the Armenian people
RESULTS
Now that Expo 2010 is over, Armenia must do everything in order not to lose this unprecedented victory and to make every effort to quickly capitalize on its results. The New Armenia must become a reality for each of us
The most important outcome, and not only for the potential implementation phase of the City of the World project, but also for the stage of its development, is that new development prospects have opened for Armenian science, technology, economy and culture. This is a great outlook for our educated young people who need new sources of modern knowledge in Armenia itself and platforms for applying their knowledge and creative energy in their country
Such communication projects can give a lot to Armenia. Everyone has seen the enormous interest the City of the World project aroused at Expo 2010. Having learned the basic ideas and slogans of the project, people began to think differently over many issues. Many started to feel in a new way their involvement in everything that happened on our planet, started to look through different eyes at the major challenges facing mankind. Through these experiences, they perceived a new Armenia, a country which, while being incommensurably small in relation to China, the organizer of the World Fair, managed to become the moral navigator at this very prestigious global forum. Now there is a great opportunity to capitalize on these gains, to obtain maximum benefit from the country's new image and secure it at all international exhibitions and forums to follow
The great interest the City of the World project aroused, and the numerous target actions and super-creative activities that took place in the Armenian pavilion, such as "The Apricot Garden", "Return to Origins", "Gold and Silk" and "Armenia for Africa" which were attended and enthusiastically appreciated by huge numbers of visitors, witnessed a massive increase in people's interest in Armenia and a huge growth in the numbers of potential tourists who will want to visit our country

Another and no less important ideological outcome of the City of the World project will be the unique opportunity the Armenian Diaspora will have at the global level to express gratitude to the nations and countries of their residence for the chance the Armenian people had been given in a tragic period of its history, the chance to preserve life and national identity. This will unquestionably be a commendable gesture of gratitude of the Armenian people to the countries that provided all Armenian refugees who had survived the Genocide with the opportunity to gain a foothold in the land of a new homeland, to preserve their faith and to build churches, to retain their national roots, language and centuries-old culture
The construction of the City of the World will immeasurably improve the national consciousness and activism, especially those in the younger generation of the Armenian diaspora as the generation carrying the core potential of creative energy, in bringing to the minds of new generations of Armenians a "Positive Memory" component which should facilitate liberation from self- awareness affected by tragic historical heritage and encourage them to live with their heads held high as a new, alternative idea
The implementation of the project has many reasons, including the following:
-the idea of the project is capable of capturing the minds of very many people and causing great enthusiasm in the nation and promoting its unification;
-unique investment and business opportunities will appear in the course of project implementation;
-the project is capable of providing Armenia with colossal tourism prospects;
The most important outcome of the city of the World project is that new development prospects have opened for Armenian science, technology, economy and culture
-the project is capable of creating a real integration basis for the diaspora (obviously, architecture and construction belong to the forms of activity which are most intrinsic to the Armenian mentality);
-the construction of the first City of the World in Armenia will make it realistically possible for the country to undertake a "geopolitical leap" (from Armenia's "new" role in the world to new mechanisms of regional partnership);
-the project will capture and promote throughout the world the image of the Armenian nation as a creative nation, a building nation, a unifying nation, an image which is a constituent of many political dividends;
-the implementation of the City of the World project will lay a great foundation for the mobilization of the Armenian youth, both inside and outside of Armenia, and will contribute to its transformation into the leader of world youth movements, with all the ensuing competitive advantages

The accuracy of calculations was one of the main assets of Inca architecture. This was also the reason for the strictly functional and concise manner. The Incas' residential architecture is known for distinctive homes called masmas which had no outer wall facing the courtyard. The dominant feature of the Peru national complex is the Masmas Hotel which has an image of two doves in a nest as a stylised symbol of family well-being depicted on the entrance façade, and an "open" glass façade facing Mount Ararat

For medieval pagans, a Viking ship was both home and homeland, and, often, even the place of final departure. The
Vikings did not change their views even after adopting Christianity. They began
to build churches out of boats turned upside down, and called them stavkirks
(from the Nynorsk "stav" meaning "pole"). The main attraction of the Norwegian
national complex is the Museum of Travellers. Norway gave the world such
famous travellers as Fridtjof Nansen, Raul Amundsen and Thor Heyerdahl. The
dynamic structure is like a fantastic Viking ship of the third millennium keeping its

The word "bungalow" originates from Hindi where it means "Bengali-wise", referring to a one-story single-family home. Europeans used to live in such
houses made of wood or woven reeds, with an overhanging roof. Today the word
is used as a tourism term with reference to small buildings standing apart from the
main hotel building. The Zambian hotel complex represents a synthesis of modern
architecture and traditional housing of Bemba, the biggest nationality in the
country. The spatial solution constitutes bungalows inspired by the plastic forms
of Bemba huts and scattered throughout the hotel area

The planning concept of the Chinese national complex dates back to the classical scheme of a traditional Chinese house called "sy ho yuan". This is a typically hierarchical design consisting of residential and household maintenance units surrounded by a spacious courtyard. The complex is dominated by a hotel designed in the form of an ancient Chinese coin, Quan, which means "source". The original essence of the form represents the unity of Heaven and Earth. The circle symbolises Yang, the energy of Heaven, and the square cut-out in the centre stands for Yin, the energy of the Earth. The amalgamation of the energy of Heaven and Earth, Yang and Yin, activates the energy of abundance awakening people to life and bringing good luck. The complex is located in a Chinese garden containing all the essential elements of the universe: plants, water, earth and stones. Water in the Chinese garden is the embodiment of peace. Today the world is changing rapidly, in the crazy rhythm of modern cities, people feel the impact of many aggressive factors and experience stresses associated with their professional activities, their family life and adverse environmental conditions. People live in a complicated world of
joy and disappointment, success and failure, victory and defeat. They are unable to understand and realise many things, unable to deal with numerous negative effects. They do not know eventually how to live in harmony with themselves, be calm and balanced, successful and happy
The world has developed an entire industry, called SPA, designed to solve numerous problems of modern mankind, give it health and harmony, balance and peace of mind
Based on ancient teachings and modern medicine, the SPA industry has created a number of world concepts which could be defined as the West European apparatus concept, the Indian Ayurveda, the Asian holistic concept, etc. These concepts and technologies designed for achieving health and harmony in life offer healing with the use of preparations, energy and apparatus
In 2007, at the SPA World Forum, held in Monte Carlo under the patronage of Prince Albert of Monaco and titled "SPA: Transatlantic Dialogue", Africa for the first time presented its SPA concept to the world under the slogan "The Wisdom of Africa"
The development of the modern global SPA industry has led to the fact that SPA today, apart from offering healing practices, seeks to teach people to use the energy of nature and offers them the chance to believe in the uniqueness of their abilities and to understand their destiny in this world
Armenia is capable of offering the world a new extraordinary SPA concept, given that the Armenian highland is a fateful place on Earth, endowed with a special aura and energy. For as we know, it was here in the blessed land of Armenia that

A programme titled "Armenia Land of Health" presenting to the world the extraordinary Armenian SPA concept and its ARARAT RELIGION SPA brand has been developed
The objective of the programme is to present a new Armenia to the world, to position Armenia as "a country of health, a spring of life"
The new SPA brand encourages everybody to visit Armenia as a land endowed with special natural power and energy, a land keeping the aura of salvation and rebirth, a country giving a chance to everyone to start their way from the beginning and find their happiness. The brand offers man a combination of methodological and spiritually philosophic healing
The philosophy of the Armenian SPA concept seeks to promote the "Ararat Religion" as a religion of moral health, purity and harmony.
The mission of the ARARAT RELIGION SPA brand is to attempt to teach everyone and to give everyone Health through Repentance, Harmony through Honesty, and Happiness through Generosity
The pilot presentation of the Armenian SPA concept was made at the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Fair. The Armenian project team addressed representatives of the world-renowned Shaolin Temple with a proposal to take part in this extraordinary event. The aim was firstly to present the extraordinary Armenian SPA concept to this world-famous centre possessing centuries-old philosophical traditions and a strong school, secondly to discuss the prospects of potential cooperation and, thirdly, to symbolise by the joint representation the spiritual unity of the two ancient nations, the Armenians and the Chinese who, of course, have much to tell the world in the future
The Monastery Delegation visited the Armenian pavilion and was introduced in detail to the ancient culture of Armenia and the Biblical legend of Noah associated with Mount Ararat, the brand beacon of the Armenian SPA concept. The guests were very impressed by what they saw, and profoundly astounded when they were presented the Bible in Chinese, read it on the page where it said about Noah's Ark and Mount Ararat, and then actually saw the sacred mountain in all of its glory with their own eyes, right in front of them, on a huge projection screen of the Armenian pavilion. Impressions were so strong that some of the guests asked the permission to borrow the Holy Book in order to become better acquainted with the legend and to have a more comprehensive insight into the essence of the Armenian SPA concept
The representatives of the ancient Shaolin School expressed their willingness to participate in the presentation of the Armenian SPA concept, as a result of
which a script was produced for a special meditative presentation session. With the help of a special Tai Chi Chuan technique demonstrated by Shaolin School representatives, visitors were proposed first to recover breath and to reach equilibrium and then to emerge themselves into the element of "purifying water" which, having been born in numerous Armenian mountain springs, filled the hearts of the people with peace and hope with its gentle flow and special sound and brought relief from negative emotions, worries and anxieties. All session participants were given a special memo together with a headband which had a short Ararat Religion prayer written on it
Thousands of Expo visitors were able to enjoy the flavour of Armenian nature by inhaling the aromas of special essential oils, to feel the warmth of the Armenian land by holding natural stones in the their hands, and to partake of the wisdom and philosophy of the new Armenian SPA concept by watching the beautiful movements of the Chinese Tai Chi and some colourful footage of Armenian waters
A stunning final point in this unique presentation was made by producing a sign of the new ARARAT RELIGION SPA brand with hundreds of burning candles laid out in front of the façade of the Armenian World Expo 2010 pavilion. That was how the Armenian SPA brand made a global start
The presentation was attended by representatives of Shanghai's major SPA companies and tour operators, including Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreat, Si Yan Health & Beauty SPA Centre, APSARA SPA, BUND 5 / OASIS SPA, Shanghai CYTS Tours Corporation, Shanghai Tiger Travel Service Co. Ltd, Trust Tour CITIC Travel Co. Ltd, and CITS East China Regional Office Outbound Travel Centre. Intentions were expressed and meetings scheduled to continue negotiations for the promotion of the Armenian SPA brand on the Chinese market
Additionally to that, a special promotion action was initiated in Shanghai, started with handing out special "Happy Journey to Armenia" promotional tours (Tickets of Happiness) where four special SPA cruises, unmatched in the world tourism industry, were presented
Each participant of the presentation received as a gift a special album with pictures of divine views of Armenian nature eloquently proving the consistency of the Armenian SPA concept, and where one of the slogans of the new Armenian ARARAT RELIGION SPA brand was written on the last page: "Eternal is Ararat, as Truth is eternal. Blessed will be everyone who comes to Ararat"

The "Armenia Land of Health" programme and the Armenian SPA concept will make a basis for the development of Armenia's large-scale and modern tourist segment, strong due to its competitive advantages and capable of becoming the engine for the whole of Armenia's tourism sector
A real opportunity to develop such unique niche tourism segments as wine SPA (with health centres created directly on wine production locations), farming SPA (with special farms cultivating vegetable and fruit ingredients for the production of SPA preparations) and, most uniquely, "religious SPA" will emerge in Armenia
The implementation of the "Armenia Land of Health" programme will not merely generate economic income, but will also have a huge multiplier effect, with such areas as agriculture, medicine, air travel, construction, architecture and design obtaining new incentives to develop
The extraordinary and innovative qualities of the "Armenia Land of Health" programme and the Armenian SPA brand are not only capable of attracting the attention of many people in Armenia and throughout the world, they can also become a "vertical takeoff" launching platform for any business entity ready to become a leader in their promotion and development
The healing and preventive medicine sector will also receive powerful development incentives, which will effectively improve the quality of the services provided in this sector and will bring it to the world level and to the world market
The Armenian ARARAT RELIGION SPA brand has strong export potential, as the technology of providing SPA services implies the use of the energy of the Armenian land (Armenian stones and minerals are used in some of the procedures), fruits and gifts of Armenian nature (all preparations used in the procedures are made exclusively from Armenian ingredients), the energy of the Armenian spirit (only Armenian music and spatial design are used), i.e. components which will be demanded for export by both the majority of Armenians living outside Armenia and foreign nationals

An Armenian living abroad today can study in an Armenian school, buy food in an Armenian store, and finally go to an Armenian Church… But there is no such place by visiting which you can be in Armenia "body and soul" simultaneously, touch the energy of the native land and get a recharge from its roots. The ARARAT RELIGION SPA can provide this unique opportunity, and this is a guarantee of commercial success of the brand
The Armenian SPA concept will help an individual to understand many processes in a new way, to take the road of moral purification, to be reborn both physically and spiritually, and to find health and happiness

cities grow at a tremendous speed on our planet. According to the UN, more than half the world's population lived in cities in 2007 and two billion rural residents will eventually move to cities by 2030, where 60% of the world total population will live by then
With the current pace of technological development, mankind will increasingly, more and more, appreciate the opportunity to communicate with nature directly and the possibility to use environmentally friendly products
People will increasingly become aware that wasteful use of natural resources, thoughtless pollution of the atmosphere and reckless, ruthless attitude towards wildlife threaten prosperous life on the planet in the future. Today more than ever people start talking about the need to control the origin of food products, about the instruments required to ensure security of food production and to prevent chemical pollution of food
Vegetables, fruits and berries bought in many supermarkets and markets of major cities of the world today are only outwardly similar to products grown on the ground with the use of a personified approach, while their taste and chemical composition cannot be compared at all. If adding to this the constantly rising food prices and the growing interest in eco-products, it will be possible to state with confidence that the new modules of eco-villages promising to return mankind to "the roots", pure nature and healthy living, and the "grow yourself" concept which will always ensure that you use real products of guaranteed quality will have very good chances of winning the minds of many people and becoming highly demanded in the future
Armenia has a great natural potential, fertile land and sources of crystal-clear water, you can watch all the seasons of nature in different parts of the country within one and the same period
Vegetables, fruits and other Armenian agricultural products are traditionally distinguished for their useful properties, high natural quality and good taste,

which creates good starting conditions for the establishment of unique vegetable, fruit and animal production facilities in the country
The creation of a new living environment in the Armenian village, the formation of a new identity and a new understanding of nature in the ordinary farmer, the introduction of modern technologies in agricultural production and rural life, the creation of promising eco-villages and eco-oases in combination with the "biblical choice" of Armenia - all of these factors form a good platform for the successful conversion of Armenia into a unique world-scale natural factory producing highest quality food capable of becoming widely popular around the world
As an efficient strategy of development of rural Armenian regions, involving the combination of inflow of smart global technological (focused) solutions (smart streams) with the creation of a cluster environment for their operation can be adopted, which can raise the whole infrastructure of rural areas to a new level and give a number of benefits ranging from the provision of modern vocational training to rural youths to the setup of new and innovative agricultural production units, and from the formation of new "units of nature" to the establishment of new standards of living. The funding of such programmes should be considered as required and prospective investments in Armenia's future
The need to preserve rural population, reduce migration motivations and create modern jobs in villages are key, primary and urgent problems for Armenia, which can be solved with the help of as little as a simple inflow of structured information on the strategy and tactics of possible development of the village, resulting from which villagers will not only obtain hope and stay part of their communities, but also start thinking on new development prospects
The compound of unique natural resources, hard work of Armenian farmers and modern technologies - is the guarantee of the real prosperity of Armenia
one of the key aspects of the programme is that it has a new technology for innovative (creative) presentation of Armenia's agricultural potential on a global scale

A programme titled "Armenia Factory of Nature" has been developed, the ultimate goal of which is to establish new natural modules employing a complete cycle of interaction between man and nature, ranging from the organisation of production of environmentally flawless products
and the deployment of advanced technologies for their efficient marketing to the formation of a new balance for man and nature in Armenia
The programme aims to bring new operating standards and practices and social relationships to the lives of rural residents, and implies transformation of rural workers from often poorly educated peasants tired of the drudgery of hard labour into highly developed and technologically savvy "natural operators". The implementation of the programme involves steps which will be increasingly broader in scope and will in time cover the entire country
. A special event called "Apricot Garden - Garden of Desires" that was held within the framework of the Best Events of the Armenian Pavilion programme at Expo 2010 in Shanghai can serve as a good example of a creative presentation of this kind
In the course of this two day long, very colourful and informative activity, Armenian apricots and their great taste, useful properties and widely ranging spin-off products were demonstrated to many thousands of visitors, augmented by a new creative positioning of the Armenian fruit as a unique produce of the Biblical Armenian land, whose taste fills people with a special energy of nature and gives them a touch of the pure origins of life on Earth
The great interest the Armenian apricot tree aroused was promoted by a unprecedented advertising action titled "The Soul of the Apricot Tree", which presented the magic sound of the Armenian duduk as a "song of the soul" of the apricot tree
In the first part of the "Apricot Garden" event, a concert of Armenian music was given. The music was played under the canopy of a blossoming apricot tree with the use of different musical instruments accompanied by the duduk. The second part of the event, titled "The Garden of Desires", provided everyone who
had tasted the unique Armenian fruit with the opportunity to think of the most cherished wish and plant an apricot tree on the Armenian land for the whish to come true
A "personal tree" will serve as a magnet connecting every Chinese family with the Armenian land, making Chinese people consumers of Armenia's divine gifts and giving them a good stimulus for making periodic visits to Armenia. That was the first example of creative Armenian invasion of the world market in order to promote a specific commercial product
The first phase will engage one or several pre-selected Armenian villages in the implementation of a pilot project for the establishment of a network for the placement and execution of orders for the procurement of agricultural produce, as well as for the establishment of a system for the placement and execution of orders for the establishment of proprietary agricultural modules to be managed by urban residents of Armenia (or other countries)
A network technology has been developed on the basis of a convenient web interface, which will allow any consumer to periodically order a supply of vegetables, fruits, berries, flowers or livestock products from Armenian rural producers, to create own micro-farms on leased or bought land with either trusting the management to a local agricultural operator or managing it personally on a remote (online) basis
A consumer will be able to buy or lease a personal garden (to grow horticultural crops), livestock (cows, chickens, goats, sheep, etc.) and a house in a village by making a selection from a number of pre-defined offers. Special web cameras will make it possible to monitor the life of the animals and the farm on the whole on a remote basis. When visiting an animal you have bought or leased, a cow for instance, it will be possible to drink fresh milk or eat some cheese made from that cow's milk, and to milk and feed the cow. The consumer will be able to come to his/her parcel at any time, to water and weed the plants, to harvest the fruits or to come to the house (if bought) and live there, enjoying the nature
The consumers will not need to work, to water or weed the plants, to take care of the livestock personally, as this will be done by the agricultural operators

whose services will be paid for by the consumers directly through the website. The consumers will not need any special agricultural knowledge, and if there are any questions, they will always be able to get professional advice on the website. Thus, the consumers can run their farm either by regularly visiting it or by monitoring its development in online mode
With the help of the website, using the intuitive user-friendly interface containing all relevant information ranging from the expected yield to what and how should be done to maintain and develop the plot and take proper care of the animals, the consumer will be able to choose the size of his/her plot depending on the number of people he/she would like to feed, the model of the house and all the parameters of the farm
The processing of urban residents' orders and the provision of services can be done by either individual agricultural producers or specially established companies which will take unused land from the state for lease (at a very low price), cultivate it, plant a certain predetermined, optimum range of different horticultural species (cucumbers, tomatoes, paprika, beans, potatoes, carrots, greeneries, etc.) and provide further services to the consumers in various modes.
For example, parcels in various modular versions may be either provided to consumers for sublease (for a season, for 5 years, for 10 years, etc.) or sold to them. A consumer may take, together with the parcel, a small plot of out-of-crop land in order to make his/her personal decisions with reference to its use
The most relevant needs and the most appropriate formats of work widely demanded by the consumer will be determined during the pilot project, optimal mechanisms for rural producers' operation created and different logistic techniques tested
In the launching phase of the pilot project, a group will be formed out of local farmers and villagers who would like to work with the new "nature factory", and a panel of experts will be created for identifying the agricultural lands where "production areas" of the factory could be sited and for determining the assortment of agricultural products which the factory will produce in accordance with traditional and new farming methods, the available knowledge of local plants, land properties and irrigation methods, while using no chemicals and producing no environmental pollution and taking maximum care of the consumers' health
An efficient logistic system will be developed to provide for marketing of all the agricultural output either directly by customers or by selling it to various businesses (restaurants, hotels, shops, etc.)
Initially, a scheme will be developed for marketing the agricultural output in Armenia, and later the marketing operations will be extended to neighbouring and distant regions and countries
In the future, in the course of implementation of subsequent phases of the "Armenia Factory of Nature" programme, new modules of eco-villages will be developed to become promising areas of residence for modern man
The "Armenia Factory of Nature" project is designed to cover all major towns and villages and is perfectly applicable to all regions of Armenia, regardless of their geographic location

eventually, the "Armenia Factory of Nature" programme develops and cre-ates a new mechanism for interaction of man and nature. Any solutions produced, and achievements made in this area are relevant not only for Armenia but for all countries in the world, this giving the programme
a strong communication potential
There is no one actor as demanded and appropriate for establishing practical natural production facilities and achieving a good production balance as the farmer, with the "natural operator" also promising to become a similar actor in the future. Therefore, the sooner the natural operator comes into picture and starts operating in Armenia, the more new collaboration projects and investment opportunities will be available for implementation
Farmers and other rural producers will have an opportunity to learn how to use such categories as branding and logistics in their work and how to establish and maintain effective communication with consumers with the use of advanced networking technologies
The programme will create direct links between farmers and consumers, contribute to converting Armenian villages into modern agricultural areas and turn agricultural production into a leading and profitable business. The programme will provide the opportunity to turn Armenia into an economically strong, agro-innovative, environmentally faultless, and therefore very attractive country in terms of both developing agro tourism and establishing micro-farms by urban residents of foreign countries (including diaspora citizens) on Armenian land
The residents of Armenian villages will acquire a real prospect for development, a distinctly identified motivation, modern instruments and new markets for their products. Efficient logistic and marketing schemes will be designed and

developed for the Armenian agricultural produce and its further promotion in the global markets
The country's incoming cash flows will really grow as a result of both selling Armenian agricultural products in new markets and selling and/or leasing various agro-units (farms, houses, cottages, etc.)
The agricultural sector will become technologically advanced, and information technologies will come to the villages to contribute to their fundamental development at the new level
Agro tourism, being one of the world's major and most developed trades, will become relevant for Armenia as well. The country's competitive advantages in this segment of tourism are absolutely real and range from having the status of the land of "biblical choice" to being known for the special national hospitality
The implementation and development of the "Armenia Factory of Nature" programme will endow Armenia with a new global mission, the mission of the world's factory of clean produce grown on the biblical, holy land, affordable to everyone in the world, both with the use of mechanisms of remote acquisition and through the creation of a "little paradise" in the form of a small house, parcel and/or farm on Armenian land
