UTS SUMMER SCHOOL – THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Types of summer schools Media Production, Science, Design,

Business, Engineering & IT, Health

Spend two 2 weeks at UTS

Experience university first hand

Summer school program is FREE

Transport to and from UTS is FREE

All meals are FREE

SELECTION CRITERIA – PART 1

The school will select students for UTS summer school based on the following criteria: a student who has the potential and academic ability to attend university

a student who has shown they are able to commit to their learning

a student who always makes an attempt to learn

SELECTION CRITERIA – PART 2

In addition to the previous criteria, students must also: be available to attend the Orientation Day on November 19th 2015

attend all days of the Summer School from January 11 to January 22 2016 between 9:30am-3:30pm.

attend graduation night on January 22, 2016

Commit to the full program including 6 follow up workshops in year 11 & 12 held on UTS campus in school holidays and some weekends.

HOW TO APPLY – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Take an information booklet Complete EOI online before closing date

Read the questions in the EOI and spend time writing your answers

Your DP and Year Advisers will process EOIs

Students who are successful will be informed

All other students placed on waiting list
