being destroyed? Le plant cell What is the process in which animals
cells use to gain energy Cell respiration What is the cell that
contains a lasmic reticulum? Both Animal and plant cells
Both Animal and plant cells. (A lasmic reticulum is a surface in
which ribosomes bind for protein.) What is the type of cell that
has a nucleus, and membrane-bound organelles? Eukaryote What is the
type of cell that is a unicellular organism? Prokaryote DAILY
DOUBLE DAILY DOUBLE What is the cell type that contains one
chromosome but not true chromosome: Plasmids Prokaryote What is
cells that came into being through the process of evolution?
Eukaryote What is the type of cell that may contain extra DNA in
structures called plasmids? Prokaryote What is the process by which
water diffuses through a membrane? Osmosis What is the area in
which water will move through any membrane it can as long as it is
moving to an area with a higher concentration? hypertonic What is
the name of the areas with lower concentrations? Hypotonic What is
the methodgenerally only found when particles move down their
concentration gradient, from an area of higher concentration to an
area of lower concentration? Passive transport What is the a state
where the concentrations are balanced throughout? equilibrium What
is the place all cells come from? Pre-existing cells What is the
invention that made the discovery of the cell possible? The
microscope What is passed on when cell division occurs? DNA What is
the type of sample Robert Hooke observed under the microscope,
leading to him naming cells, cells? Dead cork samples What is the

replication? Chromatin What is the actor and name of this
character?
