RE: WonderDome Mobile Planetarium Visit
In the spring term, year 5 will be launching their new science topic based on space and the solar system. Children will be learning about the Earth and other planets, as well as how the force of gravity acts.
To help launch our topic, a mobile planetarium company (WonderDome) will be visiting year 5 on Friday 10th January 2020. A mobile planetarium will be set up in the upstairs hall and WonderDome’s astronomy presenters will work with the children. This is a unique experience for the children to explore our solar system first hand through a presenter-led show immersed in a real planetarium setting. Children will also have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas with an expert, which will give them a deeper understanding and immerse them in the wonders of the solar system.
This stunning planetarium experience will be £2.50 per child which can be paid via the school app or by Paypoint voucher on request.
