Our Vision
The Division of Student Affairs provides opportunities forstudents and the campus community to cultivateacademic, personal, and professional success. We
enhance the student experience through a wide array ofintentional programs, services, and activities that supportthe life-cycle of our students.
The Division of Student Affairs sees the potential withinall UNT students and fosters a culture of excellence andopportunity. We build a foundation for all students to
succeed as contributing members in an evolving globalsociety.

The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) at the University of North Texas is the principal unit
that provides, coordinates, and administers student support programs and services
designed to address the diverse needs of all students throughout their association with
the University. Reporting to the Vice President of Student Affairs, the DSA has a staff of over 300 professionals serving about 37,000 students. The Division supports key student
service areas which encompass the entire student to alumni life-cycle and builds
relationships with students from matriculation to graduation. The DSA believes in the
concept that learning transcends the boundaries of the physical classroom space and is
reflected in our mission;
“The DSA provides opportunities for students and the campus community to cultivate
academic, personal, and professional success. We enhance the student experience
through a wide array of intentional programs, services, and activities that support thelife-cycle of our students.”
Recognizing affinity has deep roots in the student experience, the DSA believes it isuniquely situated to enhance a student’s time on our campus by providing unique
opportunities for students to get involved, gain support, and make undergraduatememories. Our goals have been intentionally framed to help the Division expand upon
and improve the student experience and to remove barriers to student success. We are
proud of the programs and services we have been able to provide the students of UNT
and invite our various constituents to have an opportunity to share in the student affairsexperience of the 2014-2015 academic year. We are constantly striving to provide our
students with the best possible services that keep pace with their evolving needs.

Service Director Magazine, Presidents Council for Responsible Medicine,and PETA. UNT Dining doesn’t just serve UNT, they are UNT.
