also the MAC address, which is used in Ethernet Protocol communication. If it is not necessary,
leave this field unchanged.
The "Connection type", specifies the device connection. When enabled "GPRS connection"- the
Ethernet, and GPRS (General packet radio service) connection is working.
Device name (Host name) in the local network. If the device is connected on the local Ethernet
network, it can be access by pointing out the name instead of the IP address.
The MAC address is used to access the device in the Ethernet network, if necessary four last
numbers of addresses can be modified.
The device language can be adjusted from device language bar. (Lietu По-русски)
If the Ethernet network allows to use the service DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) server, by selecting " DHCP enable", device IP address will be awarded automatically. If
there is no such service, must be disabled. All parameters" Owner IP address ","
Mask "," Gateway "have to be written manually. They must match the settings of the network to
which the device is operating.

GPRS modem Settings
If the device is operated via GPRS, it is necessary to make the following settings.
If the service provider requires to type the name of the customer to "User name"
and password "Password", then these fields must be entered with the required settings, if these
options are not required, you can leave the settings offered by the device. If the SIM card
password is activated, it is required to specify a "Pin" code of the SIM card. When a connection is
established by the operator, it is necessary to check the connection between the modem and
the outside world, for this reason a period parameter "Period" checking with the remote server is
needed. The address is recorded in the "Server address". Preferably this parameter "Period" is less
then 120min. If the read data will be less than this period, the communication transfers into the
"sleep" mode. In the paragraphs "Dialing" and "Hangup", you can change the list of commands
sent to the modem installed from the factory. Typically, these commands are not required to
change, with the exception of one command, which should be introduced, issued by network
operator APN (Access Point Name). To change the command, click the "Edit" button, a window
opens:

To follow the quality of GPRS signal the parameter "Quality signal" is shoed. It should be as
high as possible (max. 31). Reliable communication, when this parameter is not lower than 14. To
achieve a more reliable level of communication, find the appropriate location of the GPRS
antenna. We should pay attention that the signal level is measured until the modem has not
established the connection to the operator. When a connection has occurred, the signal level is
no longer measured.
Status of the connection
In this section status of the device is described. The device "Device time", "Ethernet
status", "GPRS status" is the status of the Internet and GPRS connection, number successfully read
records from external devices Received "records" (in the "configuration" Module input devices).

depends on which parameter is needed for data reading from the device. If only one M-Bus
meter is connected to the device, the address 254 can be used. This meets that each of this type
meters will answer to the address. If there are connected more than one meter, the secondary
addressing is 253. The secondary address is then used for data reading.
If the external Axis wavecard" is connected to the device terminals (UART1)
RX1, TX1 and GND, you can read the meters with the same radio modems remotely. Then
following parameters are set: the device interface "Axis wavecard, M-Bus address 254, 9600b/s
connection speed, parity None and MAC address of the device also the Radio MAC address.
The metering equipment can provide many parameters; some of them may be as excess
information to the accounting system. For this reason a list of Script list (MAX

Cascade control system
For heat supply may be used systems with multiple boiler-boiler cascades.
Management of heat supply is according to outdoor air temperature sensor.
1. Heating carried according the temperature graph dependent on outside temperature.
2. The controller is regulating heating process to achieve the set temperature.
Control: Heat controller first turn on heating boiler and, if necessary, increase thermal power to the
maximum nominal capacity (using analog output 4-20 MA or 0-10V). Time to reach the
maximum capacity specified in the settings. If the temperature is not reached within the specified
time. The second boiler is turned on and boiler thermal power is increased to the maximum

39
nominal capacity ( 0 to 100%). If there is too much heat produced (temperature is exceeding the
schedule + deltaT graph), heating boiler power is reduced to minimum power. The boilers start
turn off. First turned off is the boiler, which was turned on the first. Heating boilers remain
switched off until the temperature drops below the temperature of the system schedule
(deviation-deltaT).
Sequence on/off of the heating boilers is automatically controlled by the controller. This
ensures a balanced distribution of work hours for heating boilers. Also takes into account the
record of working hours for both the heating and the hot water preparation. This increases the
service life of boilers.
If a boiler fails, the other boiler is started to ensure the heat requirements.
Turn ON/off boilers: The boiler is controlled by three power outputs and analog output of the controller. One of the
three to start the boiler, the second to close the valve of the boiler, the third the boiler circulation
pump. Each boiler is equipped with temperature sensors. When required the boiler turns on and
increase heating capacity. When boiler pre-set temperature is reached the boiler valve is
opened. The boiler requires minimum internal temperature to prevent corrosion. If the internal
boiler temperature falls below the set temperature of the boiler, the pump is switched on when
the minimum temperature is reached the boiler pump is switched off. The boiler and pump is
switched off together. Valve closes after a specified time (time for each boiler is individually, the
minimum temperature in the boiler, too). Settings allow you to enter a minimum operation of the
boiler (f.e.: works not less than 5 minutes). After turn off the boiler the boiler again can be turned
on only after a specified time.
Systems pump control: The system pump is activated according to the outside temperature.
If the system pump is switched off from the outside air temperature sensor, the systems pump
starts when any of the boilers is turned on. The pump stops after the specified time, when all of
the boilers are turned off.
Preparation of hot water: Hot water is prepared in accordance with the schedule of the temperature graph (i.e., value is
entered, for example 60 degrees).
