WORLD CLIMATES
WEATHER: the conditions in the air above the Earth such as wind, rain or temperature, especially at a particular time over a particular area
CLIMATE: the general weather conditions usually found in a particular place
Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time.
AFFECT: to have an influence on someone or something, or to cause them to change
EQUATOR: an imaginary line drawn around the middle of the Earth an equal distance from the North Pole and the South Pole
GRAIN: seed from a plant, especially a plant like a grass such as rice or wheat
WHEAT: a plant whose yellowish brown grain is used for making flour, or the grain itself
INFLUENCE: the power to have an effect on people or things, or a person or thing that is able to do this
LOCATION: a place or position
PARTICULAR: special, or this and not any other
THROUGHOUT: in every part, or during the whole period of time
VEGETATION: plants in general or plants which are found in a particular area
LOTS OF: A large extent, amount, or number
TAKE A LOOK: look at with attention
