4 RIBs were redeployed to patrol northern part of Tanganyika Lake, based in Uvira; shore-based Coy base being constructed in Uvira.
Intent: Naval unit on Tanganyika Lake- Short term composition: 1 mother vessel + 4 RHIBs
- Tasks: - Surveillance- Protection of civilians- Illegal activities- MIO
- Requirement: sea-going vessels due to size of lake (TBD)
