Kudos! Did you know?

In our Newsletter, we will be celebrating our members’ accomplishments and aspira-tions. This month, I would like to make note of our own cleft and craniofacial team ortho-dontist, Michael Stosich, DMD, MS, MS. Did you know that Dr. Stosich owns iDentity Ortho-dontics, a leading orthodontic practice serving patients in Grayslake, Gurnee, Kenliworth and other surrounding areas? Dr. Stosich also comes on a weekly basis into the Hyde Park area to treat patients at a neighboring clinic, which is growing and a great bridge for our pa-

tients that we serve and treat on this team. Our goal for the upcoming fiscal year is to obtain an orthodontic clinic space on site

where Dr. Stosich can give our patients and other re-al time care.

Dr. Stosich has not only built a thriving practice, but also has experience in basic science research with NIH-funded projects, and most currently is an active advocate of underprivileged children in the community, participating in Smiles Change Lives Foundation, Smiles for Service, and Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation. A champion for chil-dren’s causes, Dr. Stosich is a Trustee of the Hadley School for the Blind.

When it comes to treating patients with cleft and craniofacial conditions, Dr. Stosich is certainly a leading expert. He has brought to our team techniques and technologies such as cone beam CT and 3D skeletal analysis, facial protraction via Bollard miniplates, and is certi-fied to perform nasoalveolar molding. More on Dr. Stosich can be found on his website: www.identityortho.com. His business card is available in our clinic so if there is a cleft/craniofacial patient in need of orthodontic care, do not hesitate to ask Heather, our Team Coordinator, to share his contact information.

We are so grateful for the care and expertise he has and continues to give our patients!
