Accordion Book Name: Directions – Page 1 Date: Supplies: Two Pieces Oak Tag/Construction Paper, Glue, Scissors, String (Optional)
Step 1: Fold paper in half. Step 2: Fold each half into fourths – accordion style.
Step 3: Attach or draw a title page.
Step 4: Glue pages in order.
Step 5: Glue back ¼ of first strip of paper to front ¼ of second strip of paper.
Step 6: Continue to add strips. Book is 4 strips long.

Step 7: Glue a string onto last page of book.
Step 8: Glue book page on top of string.
Step 9: Book will be tied closed on the front.
Step 10: Book is tied shut.

Fold a piece of paper in half lengthwise. Cut in half. Fold accordion style into four equal parts. For a more durable book, oak tag or construction paper may be used.
