Campaign Slogans: Purpose
Develop a toolkit to help truck drivers prepare for
mountain travel. The campaign will direct drivers to
web/print resources and provide on-road signage and
guidance. We want truck drivers to know the following
before traveling mountain highways:
• The mountain pass speed limit
• The grade of the pass
• Public access areas on the pass
• Locations of brake stations, chain-up stations
and runaway ramps
6
Campaign Slogans: Target Audience
Long-haul trucker drivers, specifically those from
other states who are not used to driving through
the mountains in the summer.
