Public Universities in South Africa
Chief-Directorate: Teaching DevelopmentUniversities BranchDHET
April 20112
Disclaimer:Data was collected from two main sources, and accuracy of data is reliant on the source data:
(i) Audited 2009 enrolment and graduation data was obtained from the HEMIS officers at the universities(ii) Additional 2009 enrolment and graduation data (unaudited) as well as 2010 enrolment projections was obtained from the Faculty/School of Educationoffices at the universities.
The use of multiple data sources in this document, as well as the use of both audited and unaudited data is likely to give rise to some inaccuracy. The datatrends presented here should therefore be regarded as indicative rather than as definitive.
