PRICELINE’S BOOKING.COM Made an application for iPhones, iPods,
iPads, and Androids called Booking.com Tonight App
-allows guests to see openings or special deals at hotels.
-allows guests to see photos, maps, and read reviews. -allows guests to book hotel rooms in a 3 step process;
fill out contact information, give their credit card information, and confirm that it is the correct room.
Priceline’s Booking.com Application
EXPEDIA Just came out with an application for
iPhones in April, 2012. Allows guests to reserve hotel rooms Uses the location system on guests mobile device to
pull up hotels in close proximity to the guest. Once guests begins search they can view a map or a
list of hotel options. Allows guests to take slide show tour via mobile
device. Allows guests to receive details through text
messages after making the reservation

Grocery shopping via mobile app. Ordering all groceries from home, paying for
them from home via mobile device. Going to the store to pick up the order.
Ordering food from restaurants via mobile app.
