The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman hasbeen held in Washington, D.C.’s historic RFK Stadiumsince 2008. The 2011 Military Bowl marks the fourth year 

that Washington, DC will host a post-season NCAAfootball game. Organized by the DC Bowl Committee, theMilitary Bowl serves as a premier regional eventbeneting the USO. With rst-rate participants and events,the Military Bowl seeks to generate broad support for theUSO, positively impact the regional economy,honor theU.S. military and solidify the nation’s capital as a leadingcollege football destination.

Funds raised from the bowl help thousands of militarypersonnel and their families through the game’spartnership with the USO. Last year, the Military Bowl

donated $100,000 to the organization and provided morethan 5,000 game tickets for service members and their families.

The Touchdown Club is a membership organization dedicated tosupporting and celebrating the strong tradition of football in thenation’s capital. The Touchdown Club membership fee is 100% taxdeductible and provides military personnel and their families

complimentary tickets to attend the Military Bowl presented byNorthrop Grumman on December 28, 2011. Membership in theTouchdown Club grants individuals and companies a chance topurchase tickets not available to the general public, receive premiumparking, obtain preferred seating at Touchdown Club events,eld-level access on game day and more.

Since before the United States entered World War II, theUSO has been the bridge between the American public andour troops by providing a touch of home through centers atairports and military bases, top quality entertainment andinnovative programs and services. The USO, a private,nonprot organization, relies on the generosity of 

individuals and corporations to support its activities.

The USO operates more than 160 locations in 13countries (including the U.S.), and 26 states. Troops andfamily members visited USO centers more than 7.7 milliontimes last year. Services include free Internet and e-mailaccess, libraries and reading rooms, housing assistance,support groups, game rooms and nursery facilities.

As the local chartered USO center, the USO of MetropolitanWashington is dedicated to serving those who serve, andtheir families in Washington, D.C., Maryland and NorthernVirginia. Every day, staff and dedicated volunteers helpUSO-Metro achieve its mission to provide rst-class

programs and services to the more than 500,000 activeduty military in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area.
