TNReady Ambassadors Program for Test Coordinators
I. Qualifications
• At least 3 years as district testing coordinator (DTC) or some combination of district and building testing coordinator (BTC), with at least 2 years as district testing coordinator.
• Willingness and ability to perform deliverables of contract • Commitment to attend in-person events as described in calendar
II. Overview
• Six DTCs from a variety of districts, representing diverse district sizes
and geographic locations • Compensation: $10,000 annually
III. General Responsibilities
• Act as a thought partner for the department’s Assessment Team in
order to continuously improve the assessment experience through on-the-ground perspective and stakeholder feedback
• Provide feedback through defined mechanisms • Participate in daily phone calls during the testing
window • Serve as an ambassador for TNReady to build awareness of TNReady
purpose and processes • Provide expertise on the program to surrounding schools
and districts • Act as resource for local area DTCs
• Contact information shared with department and CORE • Stay up-to-date on testing information/protocol
• Provide local training for BTCs • Both Fall & Spring • Present material created by department Assessment
Team • Consult with department on assessment process, planning, &
procedures via webinars, calls, and at least two in-person planning meetings with testing vendors.
• Consult with department on test preparation materials, including, but not limited to:
• Test Administration Manuals (TAMs) • Test Administrator/Proctor Scripts (TAPS) design • Nextera user guides • Accessibility guide • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Nextera and Classroom
Assessment Builder (CAB) • Other items, as needed
• Participate in training, as outlined, including ACT webinar • Participate in regional assessment meetings, monthly DTC
webinars, and LEAD Conference • Take part in panel discussion and other leadership
opportunities • Assist in planning for road show and webinars
IV. Calendar of Responsibilities
Late July/August • Kickoff meeting with department‘s Assessment Team to plan for fall
regional assessment meetings & Assessment Logistics Advisory Council (ALAC).
• Participate in ALAC meeting to plan for fall regional assessment meetings
• Plan for DTC webinar • Attend DTC webinar (intro of TNReady Ambassadors to DTCs
statewide) • UAT for CAB
September
• In-person training in Nashville (one day) on: Assessment Logistics EIS and Visibility Tool
• Plan for & attend DTC webinar • Attend/serve as panelist or presenter at two regional assessment
meetings
October
• Plan for & attend DTC webinar • Plan for & attend LEAD conference • UAT for Nextera operational platform
November
• Plan for & attend DTC webinar • Host after-school meetings in two locations within CORE region to
present training from department to BTCs in preparation for fall EOCs
• Webinar/e-mails/calls with TDOE staff to plan for ALAC meeting December
