Tinley Class made their own Alien puppet as part of our ‘Out of this

World’ topic.

The children in Reception have described their aliens for

you.

• “I like it because I want to do puppets with it. It looks like a scruffy pup! It’s called Fluffy because it’s fluffy and it’s soft. I like it because you can play with it.”

“I could name him Flowery Rock Star because he is flowery and I like rock stars. He’s blue, brown, purple, orange, yellow so it’s a pattern. He looks like a bag. His arms are blue and white.”

“My alien is dotty. It has blonde hair and it’s got a red mouth. It’s got two hairs. One’s short and one’s long. It has blue stretchy arms.”

“It’s a police man alien. It’s got string. They’ve got string at the back to tie it to their car. It looks like a policeman because policemen have red and blue.”

“It’s a minion alien. It’s red, yellow, green and black and orange. It’s scary!”

“It’s got golden cheeks and golden ears and it’s got a green mouth and long arms.”

“He’s got a shiny nose and hairy legs, a mouth. He’s got two arms. Look how long his arms are.”

“Three arms, a green nose and it’s a sticker. A green face. Blue eyes and a blue face. His eyes are big and small, and he has a green alien.”

“He has funny arms. He has a silver nose. He has long feelers. He has funny arms. He has dark blue eyes. He has a smiley face. He has brown skin. He has zig zag arms. He cut his fingers off and now he only has arms.”
