AID CURTAILED IN TOWN-SHIPS PERMIT SUNDAY DANCES (Load Capacity)

At a recent meeting of the countycommissioners the board decided thatin the future if Sunday dances occurin the townships of the county, out-side incorporated cities and villages, where the board does not have juris-diction, that SIOO will be deductedfrom the annual county appropriationfund received to these townships. Thecounty commissioners have not per-mitted Sunday night dances in thecounty for some time, but several ofthe township boards still issue per-mits. The commissioners, therefore, decided to curtail this practice bypenalizing the townships by cuttingdown their aid, in case they still per-sist in issuing permits for Sundaynight dances.—Brown County Journ-al. —M—
