What is the Hyperloop?
The hyperloop is a proposed mode of transportation for passengers and freight that uses
reduced-pressure tubes in which pressurized capsules (“pods”) ride on air bearings driven by
linear-induction motors.

Profile
Dave Clute has spent the last 36 years working with architects, engineers, facility managers, owners, real estate
professionals, government and military clients on a wide-range of global architectural and engineering projects involving the
full range of facility life-cycle management from concept design to demolition / disposal. As the Intelligent Building
Operations Director at ESD, he is responsible for providing thought leadership, leading key initiatives and assisting clients
and project teams deliver “truly intelligent buildings.” He is a frequent speaker, presenter and panelist at real estate, design,
construction and technology conferences such as Realcomm, IBcon, CoreTech and CoreNet Global. As an NREL Energy
Executive, CoreNet Global Innovator award winner, co-founder of OSCRE and recent co-founder for the Rocky Mountain
Hyperloop Consortium, he is focused on helping improve society through the built environment.
