Using Facebook and Twitter
• Make sure you have a TwiKer account and for your Restaurant.
• Choose the people you follow carefully. Think about the demographic of fans that would be interested in your restaurant.
• Target followers that are geographically nearby to your restaurant. One way to do this is to choose advance seJngs near the search bar and filter users by city.
• Tweet your offers at least once a day, but try to avoid burnout from your fans by cycling through the offers that you choose to tweet on a given day.
• Do not simply using twiKer for self-‐promo3on. Tweet and retweet interes3ng food ar3cles. Tweet at users you have geographically targeted.
• Use vibrant, engaging photos and videos to promote your offers. Photos and videos have been shown to generate 2x to 3x more engagement than pos3ng links.
• Post about your e-‐Gi* Cards, coupons, and offers on your wall at least once every couple of days. A high volume of users will see your page via news feed, thereby promo3ng your offers increases the visibility.
• Customize the tab image and name to something that is both appealing and easy-‐to-‐understand for your fans.
• Promote your Facebook page on your website, in your email signature, on your menus, and business cards.
