Dear Partners in Ministry & Mission:
The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club witnessed an outpouring of community support, like never before, during their annual Fundraising Dinner. Nearly 400 friends and supporters gathered to hear a powerful message from NBA star, Winston-Salem native, devoted son and brother, husband and father Chris Paul; detailing the importance of integrity and family.
Just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better; it did. Chris announced the CP3 Foundation would commit $25,000 toward a Phoenix Learning Center at our International Boys and Girls Club. Cheryl Caldwell followed Chris with a $25,000 commitment from the Caldwell Foundation in support of the Phoenix Learning Center. Additional donations committed before and since the meeting’s conclusion will make the Phoenix Learning Center a reality in early Fall. Thank you for making a dream come true!
Lois and I are so blessed to be part of the leadership team of The Salvation Army serving Forsyth, Davie, Stokes & Yadkin Counties. Our greater blessing is serving alongside loving and committed people who join together, unlike anyone we’ve experienced, to ensure the needs of “Others” are met each day. Companions in Christ,
Major James Allison Area Commander
