All adult members can become an offi cer of their caisse. To do so, they have to submit their candidacy and be elected by the other members during the annual meeting.
Are you between 18 and 30 years of age? If so, you may also take part in the Young Intern Offi cer Program off ered at the Caisse and complete an internship as an offi cer.

Since it is a co-op, the Caisse can distribute part of the surplus accumulated during the fi scal year among its members in form of member dividends.
• Individual member dividends are paid in cash.
• Collective member dividends are paid into the Community Development Fund (CDF) to support local initiatives.
Since fi ve years, the Caisse has paid: • $7,86 million in individual member dividends; • $1,85 million to the Community Development Fund;• $340,540 in donations and sponsorships.

COOPERATING IN THE MEMBERS’ FINANCIAL SELF-SUFFICIENCY
The Caisse off ers convenience services in 8 senior citizen homes located in Magog in order to allow elderly to manage their personal fi nances.
In 2014, 60 Caisse members were granted a second chance after asking the Board of Directors to keep their account open despite bounced cheques and overdrawn accounts.

JE COOP MON PROJET! CONTEST
In order to recognize and promote new achievements and projects of organizations and groups in our area, the Caisse created the Je Coop mon projet! contest in 2014. The 3 fi nalists were presented at the Caisse’s Annual General Meeting 2014.
PROCESSING OF REQUESTS
Major requests for support from the CDF as well as major applications for donations and sponsorships are submitted to a committee comprised of fi ve Caisse managers and one Caisse employee. Over the course of 2014, the members of the committee held 9 meetings during which they processed 36 requests in compliance with the Financial Support Policy of the Caisse.
The Accro-Parc du Cirque des étoiles, an open-air recreation centre for acrobatic sports and various circus workshops suitable for the whole family, was elected the grand prize winner by the members.

HUMAN INVOLVEMENT AT THE HEART OF OUR ACTIONS To be a major player in the development of our community, the Caisse does not limit itself to fi nancial contributions. It is humanly involved in the region, thanks to the commitment of its employees and administrators.
THE ESCOUADE D
In 2014, 65 administrators and employees took part in one of the 20 activities of the Escouade D. A total of 740 hours of volunteer work were devoted to supporting the organizations and activities in our region.
DESJARDINS FOUNDATION PRIZES - VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT
Mrs. Nancy Lafontaine (employee) and Mr. Maxime Ferland (director) are the two recipients, at our caisse, which were each awarded $1,000 to give to a non-profi t organization of their choice:
• La Fondation Christian Vachon; • Le Comité provincial des adultes fi bro-kystiques.
48-HOUR RIDE MAKE-A-WISH
The employees of the Caisse personally organized two teams of cyclists for the 48 hour ride for the make-a-wish foundation and raised $13,600 to make a dream come true for a sick child from our region.

« PAY IT FORWARD » ACTIVITY
The employees, directors and members of the Caisse showed great solidarity during the Cooperation week by establishing a large food drive for the Memphremagog food bank. It is 166 kg of food that was raised, which represents an amount of $730.
MARATHON DE MAGOG
Over twenty employees and directors took part in the Marathon de Magog which raises funds for la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Memphrémagog.

12 students managed their own fi nancial cooperative at École secondaire de la Ruche.
SCHOOL CAISSE
Ten elementary schools participated in the School Caisse service this year. Over the year, close to 500 young members made seven or more de-posits, for which they received a $10 youth member dividend.
DESJARDINS-JEUNES AU TRAVAIL
Thanks to a partnership with Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Memphrémagog, the Caisse helped 14 young people achieve their fi rst work experience in 2014.

This allowed 15 young people to learn about co-op work and gain initial work experience.
