Karri Holley serves as Associate Professor of Higher Education at the University ofAlabama. Her special interests are interdisciplinarity, graduate education, and organizationalchange.

Cassandra Volpe Horii is the Director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, & Outreach,California Institute of Technology. Her special interests are best practices in Science, Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, organizational leadership and change,classroom inquiry/assessment practices, and the impacts and effects of emerging learningtechnologies

Barbara Kacer is an instructional designer in the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teachingand also Associate Professor in the School of Teacher Education at Western KentuckyUniversity. Special interests include instructional design, secondary teacher education (espe-cially teaching strategies), and multicultural education.

RoxAnn Karkhoff-Schweizer is Associate Professor of Microbiology at Colorado StateUniversity. Her microbiology research is in the area of in biowarfare bacterial agents, but she isinterested in the promotion and supervision of undergraduates’ involvement in research andstandards relating to graduate education.

David Knight is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Queensland. His areas ofinterest include engineering education, interdisciplinary teaching and learning, learning ana-lytics, international higher education, and organizational issues in higher education.

Jaime Lester serves as Associate Professor of Higher Education Programs at George MasonUniversity. Her research interests focus on gender equity in higher education, retention andtransfer of community college students, non-positional leadership, and organizational change

Minae Yamamoto Savas is Associate Professor of Japanese Studies at Bridgewater StateUniversity. Her particular interest is the development of courses that integrate contemplativeapproaches with conventional analytical methodologies.
