Cable Design IEC/EN 60794-3-10
Central strength member (CSM): glass fibre reinforced plastic material(GRP).
Tube: thermoplastic material, containing 6 single-mode optical fibres andfilled with a suitable water tightness compound.
Stranding: the required numbers of elements (tubes or fillers) are SZstranded around the central strength member.
Longitudinal Water Tightness: filled core.
Peripheral reinforcement: aramid yarns.
Inner Sheath: MDPE ,Min thickness : 1.5 mm, 2 ripcords beneath the sheath
Armour: both sides copolymer coated corrugated steel tape with overlap,nom. steel thickness: 0.15 mm. Water swellable tape will be applied underthe armour. 2 ripcords beneath the tape.
Outer Sheath: HDPE
With its HDPE sheathing this cable is ideal for outdoor installation.
