OverviewThis guide covers the setup of the Test Historymodule in recording the results of student tests. Youcan add test definitions for any test, including state-mandated tests or college entrance exams.
l The companion guide, theSynergy SIS – Test History User Guide, illustrates how to enter andmodify test history information and printrelated reports.
l Test History directly affects graduation requirements. For moreinformation, see theSynergy SIS – Course History AdministratorGuide.
Implementation ConsiderationsWhat tests should be in Test History? You can record almost any type of test result in Synergy SIS. Synergy SIS adds the results toreports such as the student transcript.
What test information will be stored?Gather a list of the tests you want Synergy SIS to track and the test results to report, such as thetypes of scores and the test sections.
Do lookup tables need to be updated?Synergy SIS screens have several drop-downswhere you can select a value from a list. Youpopulate the values available in the drop-down from lookup tables. The values used by these tablesneed to be gathered before setting up the Test History screens as outlined in this guide.
