Tennessee Softball Coaches Association 2014 Fall Exposure Camp for High School Players
TSCA is inviting high school players in grades 9-12 to the 2014 TSCA Fall Exposure Skills Camp on Tuesday, October 7 at 9:00 a.m. at Triple Creek Park, 1350 East Broadway Street, Gallatin, TN. The Exposure Camp is designed for participants to learn and showcase their skills in front of college coaches from Division I, II, and III, NAIA and from Junior Colleges across Tennessee. Last year we had over 113 players attending and over 60 of these players were contacted by the colleges and universities below.
Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Then participants will showcase their skills for offense and defense, complete a series of timed events, and play in games with and against other participants in front of the college coaches. Information about each participant will be provided to all college coaches, which will include the participants contact information, picture, ACT test score, GPA, base time runs, standing broad jump scores, pop times for catchers, and shuttle run times.

John Conditt and Phil Burkhart serve as executive directors of the TSCA, working with coaches from the three sections of Tennessee: East, Middle, and West. Coaches from all classifications of the TSSAA- Division I: A, AA, AAA and Division II: A, AA are invited to join. The TSCA has also invited all university and college coaches in the state of Tennessee to join as members. The TSCA hopes that the university and college coaches can give the organization many ideas and help generate a bond between the high school coach and the college coach.
The TSCA is a powerful voice for high school softball coaches in Tennessee. We are working closely with the TSSAA to develop feedback from high school coaches on rule changes and elements that are important to high school softball coaches and the young ladies who play the game.
