RIDLEY-TREE CONDOR PRESERVATION ACT
(ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 821)
Approved by Governor on October 13th, 2007
![Page 15: Temperate shrubland. Southern California Mediterranean Dangers of living here??????](https://reader030.vdocuments.us/reader030/viewer/2022032612/56649ebc5503460f94bc4973/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Existing law regulates the taking of birds and mammals, and prohibits
the taking of specified nongame birds.
This bill would enact the Ridley-Tree Condor Preservation Act to require
the use of nonlead centerfire rifle and pistol ammunition when taking big
game and coyote within specified areas.
![Page 16: Temperate shrubland. Southern California Mediterranean Dangers of living here??????](https://reader030.vdocuments.us/reader030/viewer/2022032612/56649ebc5503460f94bc4973/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
National parks and park rangers help enforce these laws.
These rangers help regulate what guns are uses and how much game each person or group has.

These places apply to our biome because most chapparal biomes are in California.
Also our endangered specie the condor is not hunted as much because it is a bird that is reaching extinction
