A look back at last year’s Holiday Programmes in November
Hello Mont’ Kiara!
EDITORIAL
CATCH OUR STORYTELLING TEAM!
Enjoy the retelling of classic children’s tales with a Julia
Gabriel Centre twist! Dance with us, rhyme with us, and get
silly with us all over again this new year.
Catch our specialist teachers for a brand new line of Silly
Stupendous Spectacular Stories with our partners: Hamleys,
Mothercare, Marmalade Cafe, Sergent Major, and even at our
home base, Gateway Kiaramas in Mont’ Kiara.
For the most updated schedule, please like us on our
facebook page or subscribe to us online through our website.
Thrice a week, Independent PlayClub takes our tried and tested
PlayClub curriculum and expands it for toddlers ready to do it
alone! This programme perfectly bridges the gap between an
adult accompanied programme and formal preschool, provid-
ing time and opportunities for self-sufficient toddlers to develop greater autonomy before entering Nursery One. Suitable for
ages 18 months to 3 years, this programme is available in our
Mont’ Kiara centre at Gateway Kiaramas.
Make an appointment with us to find out more. Call us at 03-6211 4411/4422.
Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2018!
I have a great feeling of enthusiasm and eagerness for the
journey that we are about to embark this year. Looking back at
2017, it was a challenging year for us, but as passionate
educators, we will continue to persevere and have confidence to deliver excellence in education.
As my first editorial for the year, my team and I would like you to be part of our continuous effort in growing the potential of your
children. Parents as Partners has always been an important
element at Julia Gabriel Centre, Chiltern House, and Chengzhu
because we believe that good parent communication is essential
for creating strong home to school relationships with families. This
year, we also welcome to our family, Chiltern House Mont’ Kiara,
our 3rd centre. With a team of dedicated educators, we will
continue to grow, inspire and nurture your children.
So please share your inspiring ideas and resources in early years
with us.
Thank you for sharing your children’s journey with us, and I look
forward to another year of play and learning.

memorable holidays embarking on mask-related quests in our
Speech & Drama and Readers & Writers Camp! Both
programmes were newly introduced in this recent holiday

We made new friends with the wonderful characters of
Winter Wonderland, danced to our heart’s joy at the
masquerade ball, played Sherlock and helped solve
mysteries of masks and we even went on a host of
unforgettable globe-trotting journeys!
As the saying goes, “There are a lot of stories out there
waiting for you to live them!”. So off you go!
Our next Julia Gabriel Centre holiday programmes will
take place in June 2018. Stay tuned!

new art techniques. They were very proud and
reassured to know that their paintings were
bought at the auction and will be on the walls in
people’s homes. A big thank you to the Chiltern
