I would like the font for my text to be pretty basic and easy to read. I do not want it to look too fancy as I am going to use quite a complicated font for the title. I think that if I use too many complicated fonts then they might not go well together and might make it look like there is too much going on.
For my title I would like to use a font that draws attention to the fanzine page because I think that people are more likely to read it. I would also like a font that fits in with what I am writing about. For example I am writing about the fashion in hip hop so the font could be graffiti to fit in with the gangster part of hip hop or it could be quite girly as fashion would mostly be associated with females.
Final images for fanzine
These are the final images I am using for my fanzine. Nicki Minaj has a unique fashion sense which is why I am talking about her. Also, hip hop band Salt ‘n Peppa were well known for their fashion in the late 80s. Stooshe are a recent hip hop group who wear particularly unusual clothes which I think should be included in the hip hop fanzine.

To start my fanzine layout, I made the background a lime green colour as I think that it is an appropriate colour for the hip hop subculture. I then used the font ‘prisma’ for the title and surrounded it with a white oval shape.
I then added my first image onto the fanzine page. I added a pink border to the image to make it stand out on the green background. I used the text wrap tool to make the text go round the shape of the image.
I decided to change the text so that it was next to the image instead of overlapping it. I then added a pink border to both the image and the text box so it is clear that the piece of writing goes with it. I also added two more images and some more text but instead of having a pink border I chose a blue one.
