From the Big SIR:
June's lunch at our monthly meeting
was less than satisfactory. With the
very able assistance of past Big Sir
Rich Barker; the banquet manager
was contacted and our concerns were
made known to her. I believe we have come to an understanding
in regard to the quality and quantity of future luncheons. The
staff of the Marriot values our business, and promises to do
everything in their power to keep us happy.
Our Branch has been doing well in bringing in new prospective
members. Remember "earn a star" when you recruit a new
member. There will be an exclusive drawing at the Christmas
party for the members who earned a star. The "prize" will be
kept secret till the drawing. I'm sure the winner will be thrilled.
Your board of directors has decided that shorts be optional for
July. Shorts and Hawaiian shirts. Good stuff.
With the hot weather upon us, remember to stay hydrated. See
you all on the 18th. Gary
