Adult Class Survey
Remember to fill out an Adult Education Survey. If you attend any of our adult Bible classes, we want you to complete a survey. Marriage Retreat
Sycamore will host our annual Marriage Retreat at Lake Cumberland State Park in Jamestown, KY. The date is November 8-10. The cost this year is $125 a couple, plus three meals. Steve Wages from Montgom-ery, AL, will be our guest speaker. Rooms are limited. Please pay a $50 deposit by September 29 to reserve your room.
Building Project

*James Gore has been released from the hospital. *Randy DeBord will have a heart procedure done on the 4th. *Doris Casteel, niece of Glendora Casteel, has been di-agnosed with stage 4 cancer. *Shauna Ledbetter, daughter of Don & Donna Fox, is undergoing chemo treatments. *Elbert & Glenda Copeland, parents of Larry Copeland, need prayers concerning upcoming medical tests and illness. *Betsy Cody, sister of Jim Perry, is recovering from mul-tiple surgeries. She lives in Brooksville, FL. **Those battling cancer are: April Jones; Charlotte Pierce; Josie Sparks’ brother Richard; Kamryn Claywell, one year old cousin of Greg Smith; Wayne Wilborn, brother of Patsy Copeland; Paul Cagle, father of Bart Cagle; Pansy Fagan, grandmother of Craig Breen; Khris-tine Garrett, daughter–in-law of Dale Garrett; and Ken Galloway, nephew of Jimmy Stewart.

Healing Hearts Cookbook
The Widows, along with the Current and Previous Care Partners, are going to make a new Cookbook. You are encouraged to bring as many recipes as you want. Make sure to put your name on the recipe. Put them in the box in the church foyer marked “Recipe”. We also want Bible verses, recipes for life, home and family, cooking tips and helpful hints. The deadline to turn in recipes is October 1. Baby Shower
There will be a baby shower for Grant and Taylor James on Sunday, September 22, 3:00-5:00pm, in the Youth Horizons room. They are expecting a baby boy. They are registered at Wal-Mart and Amazon.
RUN4DON
The 2019 event is set for September 21, and will be the 10th annual running of the Run4Don! Since the run be-gan in 2009, together we have provided a total of $87,000 for ALS research and awarded a total of $142,000 in scholarship funds. Registration is $25 for 5K and $35 for 15K. Bible Bowl Set-up
If you can help with Bible Bowl preparation on Friday evening September 6 or on Saturday, September 7, with serving food and clean up or if you would like to be a score keeper, please sign the list on the sign-up counter in the foyer. See Jimmy Loftis with any questions.
Bible Bowl Participant Snacks
We need Bible Bowl snacks to fill up our participants’ treat bags. Please bring items such as, candy, cookies popcorn/chips, Little Debbie snacks and small water bot-tles to the kitchen by Sunday night, Sept. 1. We will be making 60 bags to feed all the participants and coaches.
Construction Cleanup

Fill it out and return it to the wooden box. There are Ministry Books there as well that detail each ministry. You are an important part of the kingdom of God! Get plugged in to the work of the church!
