What is LearningWorks Summer Camp?
LearningWorks Summer Camp is an academic,
project-based summer camp designed to be fun, active,
and foster curiosity and creativity for elementary students in grades 2
through 5.
We offer a project-based STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts, and Math) curriculum created by the
Boston Museum of Science!
Our staff create daily opportunities for your child to work in
teams on “engineering design challenges” to practice:
Reading (fiction and non-fiction) Speaking and listening
Writing (science notebooks) Math
Vocabulary Problem-Solving
Creative Thinking Teamwork
Students will be busy and engaged all morning with engineering design
challenges, team-building games, iPad learning, enrichment clubs, guest
speakers, and field trips. Breakfast, lunch and transportation are
provided.
LearningWorks Summer Camp provides a fun, structured environment
for your child to practice and maintain academic skills throughout the
summer, giving him/her a jump start on the upcoming school year!
Stay Hydrated This Summer!
Did you know your body is
made of 70-80% water?
To stay healthy and hydrated is simple:
drink water!
Water is always the #1 choice for hydration.
For a fun twist...add frozen berries, chopped-
up fruits/veggies, and/or herbs.
Have your kids come up with fun
combinations, starting with the ideas here!
