(TSXV: SB) (“Stratabound” or “theCompany”)ispleasedtoannouncedrillresultsfromitsfirstdrillprogramcompletedonitsnewMcIntyreBrookgoldprojectlocatedalongHighway180,eighty-fivekilometreswestofBathurst,NewBrunswick.The drill results confirm that significant gold mineralization previously reported to occur in surfacetrenchesalong300mofstrikefeaturing40samplesgradingbetween0.20and41.57gptgoldalsonowextendstoatleast80mbelowsurface.

Twodrill holeswere completedapproximately50metres apart along strike andunder thepreviouslysampledtrenches.Bothholesinterceptedsignificantgoldvaluesnearsurfaceassociatedwithhematite,pyriteandquartzmineralizedfracturefillwithinanalteredandvariablybrecciatedfelsicdykeintrudedintoargilliticsedimentarycountryrocks.Anomalouscoppervaluesbetween69-540ppmwereobservedzonedperipherallytothehighergradegoldzones.DrillholeMB019-04intercepted5.73gptgoldover2.0mbetween68.0mand70.0mdowntheholewithinabroaderlowgradeintervalaveraging1.20gptgoldover20mbetween57.0mand77.0mdownthehole.DrillholeMB019-03intercepted5.08gptgoldover1.0mbetween73.0mand74.0mdowntheholewithinabroaderlowgradeintervalof0.84gptgoldover16.0mbetween65.0mand81.0mdownthehole.Althoughthereisanassumptionatthispointthatthemineralizationdips to the south, theproject is still at a veryearly stageandmuch remains tobedeterminedwithfurtherwork.Inclementweatherhinderedtheprogramsuchthatonlytwoholesoffiveplannedwerecompleted.TheresultsaresummarizedinTable1below.

Thetype,styleandassociationofmineralization(Fig.1)isdiagnosticofironoxide-copper-gold(IOCG)typedeposits,(see“AboutIOCG-typeDeposits”below).

AboutIOCG-typeDeposits:

IOCGorebodiesrangefromaround10millionto4billiontonnes,(e.g.OlympicDam,Australia),ormoreofcontainedoreandhaveagradeofbetween0.2percentto5percentcopper,withgoldcontentsrangingfrom0.1 to+3gramsper tonne.The tremendoussize, relativelysimplemetallurgyandrelativelyhigh

grade of IOCG deposits make them attractive production targets. IOCG deposits are magmatic-hydrothermal deposits that are structurally controlled, have alteration and/or brecciation zones on alarge, commonly regional, scale. Theoreminerals in thesedeposits are typically chalcopyrite (coppersulphide),goldandoftencontainbismuthandrareearthmetals.Ganguemineralsaretypicallysomeformofironoxidemineral,classicallyhematite.

AplanshowingthedrillholelocationsandresultsispresentedinFig.2below.

Alldrillcoresamplesweresawninhalfwithone-halfsecuredinplasticbagssealedwithcablewraptiesanddeliveredtotheActlabspreparationfacilityinFredericton,NewBrunswickwheretheywerecrushedto80%passeda2mmsieve. A250gsplitwaspulverizeduntilbetter than95%passeda105-micronscreen.Goldwasanalyzedona30-gramsub-samplebyInstrumentalNeutronActivationAnalysis(INAA)andwithafouraciddigestionfollowedbyICPfinishattheAncaster,Ontariolabfacility.InadditiontothequalityassuranceandqualitycontrolprogramperformedbyActlabs,Strataboundpersonnel insertinternationallycertifiedstandardsandblanksintothesamplestreamattherateofoneQA/QCsampleforevery15samplesandmaintainaprogramofduplicatesamplingonpulprejects.
